That was all banned from schools and many public places where I grew up. So I'm not new. But policing hair is flat out racism. Nothing to do with anything else. Unless it was for hygienic reasons, which this was not.
Juneteenth should be celebrated Black Americans risked it all to attain their freedom from their evil oppressors including fighting in the Civil War .Black Americans today owe their respect to their ancestors who gave their lives to see that we today could live our lives without restraints.
