    Unfortunately, one person was killed and multiple people including a cop were shot at the Juneteenth music festival in DC tonight.

      Yes, many black people go through an experience where their natural hair, in many styles outside of straightened or relaxed, is seen as unkept, or unprofessional

      ​@@bigbadwolf1239 I grew up being policed for clothing like Raiders gear and Long white socks with baggy shorts and Nike Cortez shoes. That was all banned from schools and many public places where I grew up. So I'm not new. But policing hair is flat out racism. Nothing to do with anything else. Unless it was for hygienic reasons, which this was not.

    The company my wife works for took away Veterans Day as a paid holiday and switched it with Juneteenth. How PC and stupid.

      Juneteenth should be celebrated Black Americans risked it all to attain their freedom from their evil oppressors including fighting in the Civil War .Black Americans today owe their respect to their ancestors who gave their lives to see that we today could live our lives without restraints.
