- We have some initial gameplay testing of the Executor at 4 stars and it beats everything easily and even wins vs a 7 star Executor! But... I think the devs overhyped the Executor's defense which is good for F2P counters.

@@varthdader3389 the new death star ability does not require a cool downs if a capital ship is present in the battle, this keeps the executor from being defeated through unintended interactions

I can't see them not testing it out on defense, I'm pretty sure we're gonna get at least one more BH ship that will help make it even more stout on defense. Plus it can beat everything on offense it should have at least some counters on defense

I feel that the bounty Hunter ships have definitely been great, but they aren’t powerhouses. Then it also doesn’t seem like Executor really buffs them well enough to hold on defense.

Use bobas basic to get target lock everywhere to reduce the ultimate cd. I’m pretty sure that’s how I saw others get ultimate quickly

Funny story, I used to do okay at Galactic Challenges.
So the executor is like imperial troopers it’s insanely strong on offensive but easily beatable on defence

What me really got me going was that I could NOT see when exactly the Event started and when it ended because the preconditions was not met.. This is totally BS when you make the last r8 just to see you missed the slot by 1h or so...
Is it possible that they’ll add more ships to buff the executor’s defense sometime in the future?
I can only see one of two outcomes. Either it's going to be overbuffed, or the Negotiator/Malevolence is going to get nerfed

Ahnald is a grand admiral he can take the executor from piett but he already has the most powerful star destroyer so he’s good

Man, they did a real good job on the sound effects, they are blasting. Dont play for over a year now and never will but still loving your videos anhaldt. Its somehow enjoying all the content without the anoying stuggle and farming. on top it safes me all the money.
Good thing I’ve been working towards BAM despite what The Grand Admiral says. Also I finally got SLKR and install maxed his gear and relics in one week with a lot of saving. Boy is it great to be in the empire today!!!!

Now my question is, 7 star executor good on defense?
If I can still best 4 star I won't have to panic for gac, bc I wasted my damn relic mats on the bloody bounty hunters today!

One thing I like about Slave 1 reinforce - taunt + retribution means a lot of counter attacks, and each counter has a chance to apply up to 6 target locks! If you haven't triggered the Executor contract yet, you'll get it soon.
Think Slave 1 is better as a reinforcement. Bringing him in when all enemies are breached means immediate seismic charge. IG2000 and Xanadu are good starting ships.
Ahnald is the only reason I still play this game just makes it so cool 😎
I would really try IG 2000, HT, and Razor Crest. Better durability on offense. I have 7* executor and found it to be far more effective to bring in Slave I later than have him out at the beginning. Especially against malevolence

People in my shard want a refund with how bad he is on defense. g12 rebels are killing it. Negotiators have no problem with this from what ive seen.
So far, it seems like CG flat out lied to us with this ship. Unless they tested with full R9 fleets and new ships we dont have in game yet to bring up the executor's defense viability.

yet-to-be-added ships will prevent assists or severely limit the damage. thinking Dengar's ship will have a unique that will interact with Breach that does it.
Unavoidable/irresistible/undispellable daze, which would severely cripple most fleets.

@Ahnald the 4* Exec is better in the mirror match because its slower than the opposing fleet which means you can land a breach+mass swarm AFTER the enemy team goes, and before they have a chance to cleanse it off which results in getting ahead.
I have a 7* Exec and someone in my shard has his at 4*, even on offense, multiple times, i had the same outcome. They were getting their TL payout and ultimate off before me, EVERY time. It was infuriating lol. Eventually figured it out but this was the first time Ive seen/felt so heavilg punished for having a ship 3*s higher than the opposing ship.
Same for me, i may have figured sth out to play around this. The speed of executor is 192 with R8 Piett + both Zetas + 6 6E-Mods, without 6 6E-Mods its speed is 185. RC speed is 186 with Bando R7 both Zetas and 6 6E-Mods. And IG-2000 has a speed of 187 with IG-88 at R5 with 6 6E-Mods without Zetas. So IG and RC should go before Executor to land a breach and then Executor 7* should go next after the enemy IG and/or RC. I couldn't test it until now, because i'm sitting at #1. I will try it out tomorrow and tell then. Maybe you can test it out earlier and let a feedback here.
@@iplayschannel2282 Ya this is exactly what I did. I have my turn order set as Ig88(192), RC(188) Excutor(187), Houndstooth usually in there somewhere (his base speed doest matter much). Had a lot of success with this again all fleets and mirror raritys.
Had to drop pietts mods down, but aside from with troopers I dont use him often, so it isnt a big deal. He has 1 6* mod equipped to set him at that speed

Which Relic levels are your IG-88 and your Bando?
For me it would be atm IG(187) Executor (185) and RC (181, R5 no Zetas atm), but that should work too, since IG should apply breach because of the passive of RC. Will see tomorrow, but anyway will Zeta Bando and R7 him.
Yeah i dont have troopers, so i would be fine with that also. I think they will change sth about Executor and/or a ship is missing like Dengar's one. We will see and thanks for the quick response!
@@iplayschannel2282 Yea I feel like this was either and oversight, or a new BH ship is going to be super fast and have a tm boost (or something).
Also ideally, you want RC out before Exec as well (i know thats asking a lot), if theirs is faster than YOUR executor, hes gonna cleanse himself by using his special before your Executor goes. Which makes ig88 being first irrelevant :(. Which only applies situationaly, but keep that in mind.
My typical first few moves is Ig88 special on RC, Their HT goes, My RC basic on their RC, Executor Mass assist on their RC. Then I go from there, typically calling Cad in as my first RI for the Retribution, Scimitar can also be used.
And my Ig88, Bam, RC, S1 are all r8. Cad is r7

I'm a little confused where the buff dispel comes from I tried using the same line up and abilities he did but I couldn't dispel taunt on enemy hounds tooth even when no allies had breach on them

taking new toys on offense is more fun anyways but I guess if you were already placing double GET2 and running counters it's not a huge game changer

The one thing I don’t like. Are the Star destroyers with the executor. They aren’t at all to scale. It’s just hard to look at a bit in a battle
The star destroyers are with it to show how huge the executor is since it’s a star dreadnaught. Similar to the ships that surround the negotiator.
