Thank you making for this video William. I watched it 5 times before buying my own birth year (Jan 69 on the Extract) transitional -68 Speedmaster at the weekend. It was my first ever Speedmaster purchase. I just wanted to let you know these videos although posted some time ago on TH-cam are still helping people like me. Thanks again. 👍
This is certainly my favorite TH-cam channel, and I know your area of interest and expertise. Despite this, and contrary to what you’ve stated as the purpose of this channel, can we expect contemporary breakdowns? I would absolutely love more content! I’m dying to hear your voice discuss the nuances post-145.022! I know you have observed the changes. Illustrate them, please! 😂 Only half joking; much love.
I do like that watch. You are very informative and I have learned a lot from your videos. I have what I believe is a 105.002 from around 1963, but I would be very interested in speaking to you about it sometime to learn some more about it.
thank you very much for all your content, it's a pleasure to study vintage speedmasters with you, I would like to ask you if the type of 24 tooth crown with the narrower omega logo, (the same crown that the watch in this video has) is compatible with a 145012 67 SP. Thank you
Thank you for your excellent video's, I have just bought a transitional 145022-69 watch with an transitional applied logo dial with a early 27mil , can you kindly do a video of your 145022-69 with a transitional dial , thank you
@@Speedmaster101 in your website you stated the following "145.022-68 Transitional Transitional - these were made with -68 or -69 stamped in the back, very low serial number caliber 861 movement, and an applied logo, long indices dial. It looks like a 145.012, and are quite rare and sought after by collectors." is that correct? thank you
Looks absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for the great content! P.S. May I ask you - what is your opinion on the Speedmaster 125th cal. 1041? I really like the central minute counter of the chronograph!
Warms my heart you featured my former watch, bought in Zurich by my late mother the day we landed on the moon July 1969.
Former watch? What happened? Did your family sell it? If u don’t mind me asking. 😅

Cool pick up! I love a vintage watch that just "speaks" to you

Yes it is compatible

Hi there, it is unheard of to see an AML long indices dial in a case marked -69. With the 27m serial it is most likely a swapped case back

Another interesting wooden toothpick approach ! 🧐 #MoonwatchOnly

Hey, I recognized that lovely -69 green lume 😁
Merci!
