Fingers Crossed that we get more MK1 Content After KP2 because to me the game is getting better because Ghostface is getting Better and Better, and honestly KR Price is justified as it has 6 Characters that’s a total of 30 Dollars and a Story expansion that’s 20 Dollars I don’t care what other people say I love Female Sektor and Cyrax, at least they have Accurate to their lore, function like they are in other games, and they might look similar but they are different in design, Sektor is more Metallic and has Fire Resistant with a Clean painted Armor while Cyrax has less Armor to create more momentum in her Flexible Skills with the Paint looking more worn out like Cyrax doesn’t care if the Armor is damage as long as it’s Functional as is more of a Tool is all she needs

Not gonna lie, but gender swapping 2 of some of the OG MK old school characters doesn't help much. And having a 30 second side mission that leads nowhere is a red flag for a price of $60 plus taxes.

Sadly, NRS and WB brought this on themselves. You can't overprice items and make drastic changes to characters and expect fans to buy it. One of the reasons why I didn't buy Khaos Reigns is because of them messing with Cyrax

If they didn’t gender swap the characters I wouldn’t have bothered buying the dlc, I hate when games refuse to change things and just keep giving us slightly upgraded versions of the exact same characters, especially when the story is supposed to be about a completely new era of the universe and nothing should be the same since it was made by a different character who gained the power to reshape the universe in his own ways

I’ve been grinding the three battle towers that give you 10 points after completing it and the 7 battle towers for 25 points. Manage to go from 300 to 700 points in one day
I play about 2 hrs a day. Go through 14 towers (6 rotating towers x2 and legacy tower x2). Also do as many challenges as I can. I currently have around 2,400 points. Also, I know people don't like the repeated season of Invasions, but I maxed out my Invasions level in ToT then went into Invasions and breezed through it. Going through the first Mesa on Level 30 took me like 10 minutes. Working on maxing out every character.
I don't think the problem was the story or the characters. I think the problem was the price tag. I'm a big mk fan, but the asking price was pretty steep. Aftermath was 10 dollars cheaper when it came out and even then I thought the price was steep. And pretty much anyone that buys groceries this day and age has to make cutbacks when it comes to entertainment. I also think them killing Invasions was a mistake. They finally put in a mini-map and everything feels cohesive now. But in my opinion, it halted the momentum real quick.

Best way to level up your invasions for towers. Some of the towers level to you and you can EASILY beat a CPU up to 5 levels above you before you hit level 10. Choose your main and play a few of the towers above your level and watch as you literally get to level 30 invasions after probably about an hour if you do it right. I was a level 19 in invasions fought a level 25 tower and was level 23 when I was done. I've not played 1 single match of actual invasions but I'm level 30
Just figured this out earlier today, was trying to finish my mastery for Omni man since I’ve almost fully mastered all my favourite characters in the game and it was so much quicker and easier to do it that way

No but they should. They don’t do it so you’ll play longer w/o knowing where you stand. Some ppl have like 2000 points when they really don’t need even half that. It’s just a way to keep you wasting your time. I just do enough to get back to top 5% every day then I’ll go hard the last day
MK1 was great. It would’ve been trash if they kept going with the same story. I’m glad they kept OG characters with a spin. If you want to play OG MK go play the older games.
I can see the dislikes on TH-cam due to a tool added, many people can. No other MK character got the amount of dislikes that Cyrax and Sektor did. Cyrax got 30k DISLIKES. Sektor got 6k dislikes. In my opinion changing their gender made a lot of people upset, so they didn't buy Khaos Reign. That's the truth, there's no avoiding this fact.

For me personally making a huge multiverse for mortal kombat was the sign of the downfall. It doesnt work in Marvel, it Doesnt work for DC with its earth 1 2 4 900 and as much as i love mk seeing them expand on the multiverse is a little annoying. I was okay with liu kang making a new timeline but then there being millions of timelines was not a good idea. We want to know whats going on in liu kangs universe, we want to find out who the big baddie will be in the current timeline. Having Enemies appear from different timelines was kinda wack. Just imo.

How much was the base game, $60? 22 or 24 characters and a story? If you do the math, $20 for the story and extras, and then divide $40/24 characters, you basically get each character for $1.67 a piece. Nah, $50 is wilding. Can I afford it? Yes. Do I want to? No.

Cyrax/Sektor grew on me but Cyrax’s voice actor was weak/exessively heavy at best. The DLC was packed with unwanted/uninteresting character driven chapters which probably went out to the world via word of mouth. 🤷🏻♂️
Can’t even say its character growth when those characters were from another Universe. Not to mention, there is rarely if ever a double xp weekend and the last two guest characters are str8 trash
Honestly I don't mind that Hyrax and Sector are females in this because it is an alternate universe they're native too and everything. I do love the look of their outfits even they're tech suits or something they do give a nice idea look of what a female cyber ninja would've looked like and such. The only thing I didn't like was choice of actor they picked to be Sektor, read some very disturbing stuff about her and it was enough of a red flag to turn me away from ever getting MK1 unfortunately. Still I do hope they do a little more with that female cyber ninja look maybe give Frost that look but with more of her own color scheme since the Cyber Ninja thing kind of made her stand out more compared to her Master Sub-Zero in MK11. They don't even have to make her a cyborg, I don't know I just think the look would suit Frost allot more. Never the less I love the videos you make on Mortal Kombat.

Genderbending is the problem, a character's "base" should never be messed with, its always wrong and is disrespectful to both genders, as if saying "We can't create good enough women, so we'll turn good male characters into females to fix the issue"

For me personally making a huge multiverse for mortal kombat was the sign of the downfall. It doesnt work in Marvel, it Doesnt work for DC with its earth 1 2 4 900 and as much as i love mk seeing them expand on the multiverse is a little annoying. I was okay with liu kang making a new timeline but then there being millions of timelines was not a good idea. We want to know whats going on in liu kangs universe, we want to find out who the big baddie will be in the current timeline. Having Enemies appear from different timelines was kinda wack. Just imo.
Takeda was in MKX. Cetrion, Noob, and Kronika were from MK11. Ermac and Quan Chi were also MKX guys, wonder if adding more MKX would have been better. Or, maybe the Chaos Reigns story wasn’t the way to go. Maybe just add characters and no more story

If you do the math, $20 for the story and extras, and then divide $40/24 characters, you basically get each character for $1.67 a piece.

Cyrax/Sektor grew on me but Cyrax’s voice actor was weak/exessively heavy at best. The DLC was packed with unwanted/uninteresting character driven chapters which probably went out to the world via word of mouth. 🤷🏻♂️
Can’t even say its character growth when those characters were from another Universe. Not to mention, there is rarely if ever a double xp weekend and the last two guest characters are str8 trash

Honestly I don't mind that Hyrax and Sector are females in this because it is an alternate universe they're native too and everything. I do love the look of their outfits even they're tech suits or something they do give a nice idea look of what a female cyber ninja would've looked like and such.
The only thing I didn't like was choice of actor they picked to be Sektor, read some very disturbing stuff about her and it was enough of a red flag to turn me away from ever getting MK1 unfortunately.
Still I do hope they do a little more with that female cyber ninja look maybe give Frost that look but with more of her own color scheme since the Cyber Ninja thing kind of made her stand out more compared to her Master Sub-Zero in MK11. They don't even have to make her a cyborg, I don't know I just think the look would suit Frost allot more.

Ed boon needs to stop adding guest characters. People would be more happier with only MK characters being DLC characters. I hope more DLC characters gets released for MK 1. But don't forget!
