i feel like rage will evolve just like every sub genre does. even though the sub genre of emo rap didn't make it to 2024, i have a feeling with the existence with opium beats that rage beats will come back. there different melody wise and different in so many other ways, but for the most part both genres carry heavy vibes. its turnt.
RIP emo trap, but tbh it played a big role in the resurgence of pop punk and the first rock album being number one first week in like a decade, i wrote a paper abt this back in university lol
@@rlyBeats i personally think emo trap ended when juice passed. atleast that's what people say. I've been watching the underground for a while now, and came across you, honestly getting a reply makes you a goat not alot of people's ever do that. thanks for acknowledging rage when nobody really did. i really did like rage, keep up the Great content, can't wait to see you get big fr 🙏
I wish you would explain more in depth for example do I really need to download Serum if I already have a synth and the part where your talking about chords and stuff I had zero clue about what you were talking about
@@procgnethat's the point though, it's a stylistic choice, listeners of this particular sub genre want the 808 in particular to smack you in the face and the distortion it produces is a big hallmark of the genre. One thing he didn't go into in this tutorial is how far people go to basically distort, crush, and destroy the sounds so it all sounds like if a trap beat was being played out of a Nintendo entertainment system. Go listen to some rage songs, once you get a taste for it you might like it, it sounds pretty cool.
Im unbelievably confused.. this isnt rage… the true rage genre was pioneered by xxx tentacion back in like 2017/2018 and has been cemented since. Crazy distorted drums with dark, catchy, dramatic melodies with pain/emotion filled screaming/gritty lyrics. Like man its literally called rage for a reason. Songs like take a step back, failure is not an option, gnarly bastard is pure rage. This is a dying/dead genre. Im just trying to understand this perspective bc from my side it seems disrespectful as hell trynna discredit what x created and also the fact that the genre of the beat u made is not even close to dying/ just really bad fkn songs from people like trip redd. Im never gonna change my mind but id like to understand where yall coming from.
this is what the subgenre rage is, what you highlighted is not rage. “The name of the subgenre comes from "Miss the Rage", a genre-pioneering track made in 2021 by Trippie Redd and Playboi Carti whose name references moshpits during rap concerts that Trippie Redd longed for during COVID-19 lockdowns.”
@@illusive7883 ok but the music you were talking about would probably be more like punk trap considering those songs take heavy influence in techniques from punk, i.e. the distortion, simple melodies, short songs, etc

Need a Hip hop beat from you bro 🚨
Even though people may not agree to what this is specifically called, one thing that is true, this beat is straight heat 🔥🫡

i lowk wanna bring rage back
damn sucks that rage has pretty much died out I personally love these type of beats
I wish you would explain more in depth for example do I really need to download Serum if I already have a synth and the part where your talking about chords and stuff I had zero clue about what you were talking about
No just go through presets in any synth you have, any synth works
what preset did you use on serum
where did/do you get all your serum banks from? Do you just search for free ones or tend to buy from people/channels you know?
this guy just nick mira if he was funny🔥 love this channel
I’m new to trap and stuff and I’m wondering why people crush the mix with their 808s?
Cause it just sounds powerful
@@ProdByJingster yeah but it DESTROYS the master

But how is rage dead when Travis Scott just released an album with massive rage influences?
because that’s not really the same style as this trippie red style
Rage is not dying stfu 2024 MUSIC
I hope you realize Carti is most likely not dropping rage on his next album
