- Mt Semeru is an active volcano in Java Indonesia and it erupted in 2021 leaving a lot of casualties. This region is also home to Tumpac Sewu Waterfalls. So in this hindi travel vlog from Indonesia I will show you the area which was destroyed by Mt Semeru Volcano eruption and some really nice waterfalls.

I read many comments from Indians who think that we, Indonesian muslims and hindus, cannot live side by side in harmony, especially in Java. I don't know where this propaganda comes from. But hopefully this video can answer that claim that we live side by side with no problem in Indonesia. Hopefully the message of peace from this video reaches all of us so we can live with mutual respect for each other

As per Javanese manuscripts, Semeru got its name from Hindu cosmology, specifically from a mountain called Meru. The tale goes that Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva carried a piece of Meru/Mahameru, a sacred mountain in Jambudvipa (old india), and placed it in Java, naming it Semeru.
fun fact: The roof of the temple in bali also called Meru. Every year, the people of Bali travel to Mount Semeru as pilgrims to perform a religious ceremony known as "piodalan."
The fruit is called Snakefruit (Salak in Indonesian) due to the reddish-brown scaly skin 😊
13:39 in Indonesia, it's called "Salak", or in english, it's called "Snake Fruit" maybe because its skin is like snake's skin
