@@Ryzza5 I think, maybe, if it's a "no corner-cutting" race, they can implement what Forza Motorsport 2 did 17 years ago where it warns you the first time you cut corners in a race (even unintentionally due to momentum and not being perfect with your braking) and retires you from the race if you continue cutting corners, even in single-player mode.

Very cool video Alex, thank you for the interview. I really liked the changes in physics, but I still have concerns about the steering wheel animation. Another nitpicky thing that I want to bring to light is the cars lights and how they illuminate. I was watching you drive the mustang around and most of us already know the taillights and turn signals for the mustang in this game are inaccurate and we hope they can add the sequential design this car has irl. But it’s not just that. The way the brake lights illuminate is very soft. Like the car has halogen bulbs instead of LEDs. And I noticed it’s not just the mustang but pretty much every cars taillights, headlights, and turn signals illuminate very soft when irl these cars have LEDs or Lazer Lights that are Instant and BRIGHT. Like I said, nitpicky, but I feel that this is a big deal especially for modern cars. The experience of driving an Audi or Porsche in game wouldn’t be all the way there if you’re riding around with dull, halogen style lights. And I’m not saying change it for every car but at least for the modern, expensive cars that have these high-tech lights and lamps, especially if I have to work 7 hours to buy the car lol.
Yeah led and halogen difference would be a nice attention to detail I agree! By the way, the mustang lights are correct. North America has the red taillights for the Mustang with sequential, but in Europe there is a law for auto manufacturers where your dynamic signal cannot function as another light (such as brake lights, like NA Mustang). So Ford in EU changed colour of lights to clear and removed the dynamic indicator for it.
It would appear that the cars in the game are EU spec as opposed to American spec so the indicators and taillights are in fact correct for an EU spec Mustang. However it would be good to have the difference between halogen and LEDs because it would add a lot more realism. How you can do that I don't know I'm not a game developer 😂
These are huge improvements from the demo. The demo was really lacking, but now i'm almost 100% sold. I just wish they would pay more attention to the cockpit view and give us a 360 degrees rotating steering wheel and bring back mansions. If they could do that, this game would absolutely destroy the competition!!!
Can 1080p 60 on console be upgraded to 1440p 60 in the next few years with updates? With optimization over the years, perhaps this could be deployed... I'm afraid of seeing aliasing everywhere on my screen because of 1080p 🙄
Also what about online only did they ever say anything about that? I'm kind of hesitant to buy the game when it comes out if it's going to be like the crew1
I like that there's no "drift mode" and drifting is just an emergent property of the car physics. That really bugged me about NFS Unbound was the way you had to essentially "activate" the drifting with a button press. Fine for arcade racers but for this kind of game it's far better to actually pass a natural "skill check" to make the car do what you want it to.
I wish this would get VR support. A dream come true. So many racing sims that have VR but no open world arcade racer like TDU, Forza Horizon or The Crew. And if it's only headtracking...pleaaase KT Racing.
Hi, sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but what were the system specs for running the game? Was it running in 4K? I am considering upgrading for this game but not sure about the specific specs I would need to run it well.
The changes to the steering for wheel users is much needed. However, something that should probably be addressed in addition to what's already there in Point #25 are shift animations that either not, or at least not exactly appropriate for a car's transmission, or the car itself has incorrect transmission data that conflicts with the interior model. 1. Both the TTRS and the 370Z have shift animations that involve the driver grabbing the gear lever. Both cars have some form of automatic transmission with paddles behind the steering wheel (370Z has a conventional 7-speed auto, while the TTRS has a 7-speed automated dual-clutch unit), though the shift speed for each car is consistent with their respective automatic options. 2. The Mustang GT's interior and gauge cluster seems to indicate that it's an example with the 10-speed auto. However, the animation has the driver going for the lever. Not only that, its shift speed, plus the fact there's only 6 forward gears, indicate that the car is coded with the 6-speed manual. As for sounds, there are still quite a few examples of cars that are mis-pitched. For example, the SL65 sounds like it's on-pitch, but the G65 (which has the EXACT SAME ENGINE) sounds like it's missing revs at the engine's 6000RPM redline. The 918 Spyder you drove to demonstrate hybrid systems also has that issue. At redline, it sounds like it's around 1500-200RPM slower.
Game is looking good. Id rather have more realistic physics, esp on wheel with pedals and shifter instead of arcade /simcade physics. Hopefully you can tune your transmission gear ratios and engine kind of like gt7. Would also be cool to have a tour bus, city bus, semi truck and detachable trailer, limo, cargo van, cargo truck just for some variety and different challenges driving around on different roads. The ability to ride with friends and invite them into your garage so they can sit in and walk around your cars would be great. Riding with friends and switching cars out in the open world would be cool.
The one thing I disliked about the modification mechanics in the demo was that there was only a turbo modification for forced induction. I would love to see a supercharger because in my opinion for US cars a supercharger is just the vibe and a turbo with the sounds does not fit as well.
This looks so much better than the demo we had a while ago. Thoroughly enjoyed the detail you went into throughout this video and it's refreshing to see the devs take on feedback from the consumers. This is a great 1000th video Alex. Keep up the quality content my man!

Also, I would love to see fuel in the game. They can have it as an option to turn it on/off in the settings. For people who don’t want it etc
Agreed! The clutch pedal currently is dynamic so whether you press 100%, 50%, 25% or even 46% hahah, it matters! The only thing is I want more immersion like stalling vehicle, etc!

more important things than this, but i would love for their to be a traffic slider in the settings so if i wanted to, add much more traffic when i feel like doing realistic cruises. i want to listen to music and wait at a red light with several cars next to me lol
Trafic is server sided so it wouldn't work, everybody will have the same minimum and maximum trafic.
@@MrQuicheProductions true i forgot about that, it’s unfortunate that the game is online only. well i hope theres enough traffic either way
But they could add a long no hesi race or time trial event with max traffic

Tdusc needs choice of auto wipers, headlights and turn indicators for those who are not quite into manual controls does tdusc have lightning when it's stormy. Optional to see drivers step into car at start of each race.Exceptional TH-cam video Alex.
Wipers and headlights turn on automatically
As time of day and weather requires them on and off. The convertible cars already puts the roof up when it starts to rain even if a car is going fast someone showed it on PC demo.
@@suzannepage3549 Not sure how auto indicators would work, the only way the game would be able to know which indicator and when to put it on would be if you have a destination set
I won't make a 'hope they add this feature' comment. I just want to appreciate the developer's effort in the game and commitment to community feedbacks. Just awesome.
W dev!! Forza and other AAA company’s need to start taking notes on how to communicate and listen to the community . Indie and AA companies are better at that, but he takes it up a notch . It’s so cool to see how passionate he is , gives me a lot of hope 😁
Awesome! I really like the guys at KT. They look really down to Earth and I think they will do a great job!
Out of everything I definitely want a fuel system. It adds soo much to the realism. Cars having their own mpg and supercars drinking much more fuel and hard pulls and revving using more fuel
That seems like a good feature, but will get tiring quickly
@@kubamax9kubowski176 that’s why they should add it as option in menu for some players. for me I love the thought of knowing that your on a fuel limit and driving in a certain way because of your fuel. Unlimited fuel gets boring you can just drive for however long and after get bored

Do you know if they will fix the small steering wheel rotation animations in the cockpit of the car?
They are really aware of this but i'm clearly not expecting it for launch. You have to make sure every animations work together on a per cas basis which is a lot of work.
Man they have put so much effort into the game and delivering what the community wants.
Even if they dont manage to appeal to everyone and fullfill every wish because there are so many they have absolutely already deserved all the praise.
I will support them and their game no matter what
Will crossplay eventually come to tdusc? If so, how long before they consider adding it and what problems would they have to overcome in order to add it?
I'm hyped for launch. I didn't see/hear you mention about NPC traffic. It still looks like a ghost town, the traffic is too sparse. And it's still red taxis, mustangs, TTs, Fiat 500 and slammed f150s. I understand this could be changed before launch but still.....
tbh idk if you watched irl videos of hong kong island but there IS a lot of red taxis, it's quite strange
Alex, what about speedometers for each car and side activities (delivery missions etc) ?
as I mentioned in the video, I promise I discussed everything, reality is, I can't tell you everything :)

Man, i really hope they add the lexus LFA. Best sounding car
What system requirements are needed to be able to play at the graphics settings you were playing?
Great video! Really looking forward to launch 😃 the Porsche 918 sounds wrong in the footage but hopefully it’ll be fixed for launch as all the demo cars sound fantastic.
Hey what do you think needs to be improved for the sound! I’ll try and forward it to :)

Are you able to feel the curbs and suspension changes over uneven terrain? It was missing in the demo. Wheel felt very muted
Very cool video Alex, thank you for the interview. I really liked the changes in physics, but I still have concerns about the steering wheel animation. I understand that they have this in their plans, but when will it be done? Was this done in the version you played? And is there any information about how many degrees the steering wheel will be at the end of the game's release?
Do you think it feels better than the crew motorfest in driving physics on the wheel? I have a logitech g pro too :)
Both feel pretty good on wheel, but TDU SC having more of a simcade physics makes me enjoy it more!
@TheAlexVII nice one bro 👍🏾 so the handling is better and more precise you saying?? And i like how you asked about adding fuel that would be great and mad realistic if they do hopefully
I hope they continue with this great communication with the community after launch. It really seems like they're making something they're passionate about

I wish they would add more different buildings, especially iconic landmarks. It doesn't look much like Hong Kong, the city I've been living in

This is looking good. I pre purchased on Steam. Wonder if it will work on steam deck? I am a longtime fan of the franchise.
In my opinion, they should have left the old font of speedometer, but they have made great progress over the months
I would like to be able to turn off damage to the car body in the settings.
One thing I really don't like about real racing fans is people keep thinking leaderboards is more important than actual gameplay leaderboard should be the last thing that they should be fixing play complain about the same thing in horizon and that's why they took longer to fix the game then then it was supposed to to fix the leaderboards stuff like that needs to be last
Another nitpicky thing that I want to bring to light is the cars lights and how they illuminate.
The indicators are actually correct for the EU Spec Mustang
This is a Regera exhaust topic all over again lol
It would appear that the cars in the game are EU spec as opposed to American spec so the indicators and taillights are in fact correct for an EU spec Mustang. However it would be good to have the difference between halogen and LEDs because it would add a lot more realism. How you can do that I don't know I'm not a game developer 😂
Are there any bikes in this version of test drive?
Not at launch but maybe for post-launch
Add fuel and traffic as a toggleable setting and you're set
These are huge improvements from the demo. The demo was really lacking, but now i'm almost 100% sold. I just wish they would pay more attention to the cockpit view and give us a 360 degrees rotating steering wheel and bring back mansions. If they could do that, this game would absolutely destroy the competition!!!
very promising im glad they are listening to the community my hope for this game went up A LOT
I’m so excited for the game but I don’t think I will buy it straight away I will probably wait a bit good video 👑
Can 1080p 60 on console be upgraded to 1440p 60 in the next few years with updates? With optimization over the years, perhaps this could be deployed...
I'm afraid of seeing aliasing everywhere on my screen because of 1080p 🙄
No idea, maybe pro version of consoles if and when that happens but I don’t know about the current. Maybe if they can they will but I’m not sure
Great video Alex! The drifting looks awesome, i am really looking forward too the game.
Also what about online only did they ever say anything about that? I'm kind of hesitant to buy the game when it comes out if it's going to be like the crew1
What a great video!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ayyyyy finally 🙌
Yessir!
Riding with friends and switching cars out in the open world would be cool.
merci beaucoup pour toutes ces info
Superb video Alex 👌
Onto the next 1000 videos with TDU SC 🎉
Do you think houses will be added after the launch?
yes, it has confirmed
The one thing I disliked about the modification mechanics in the demo was that there was only a turbo modification for forced induction. I would love to see a supercharger because in my opinion for US cars a supercharger is just the vibe and a turbo with the sounds does not fit as well.
Thank you Alex!
This looks so much better than the demo we had a while ago. Thoroughly enjoyed the detail you went into throughout this video and it's refreshing to see the devs take on feedback from the consumers. The lighting looks class. Driving looks like it feels so much better! The priority list for launch is huge and I'd be happy if we get half of that priority list on launch.
This is a great 1000th video Alex. Keep up the quality content my man!
I am so stoked for this game. When I watched your video about the demo, I could tell it needed some work and some optimization. What you brought us today has gotten me so hyped. I don’t understand the naysayers. Give it a chance. It will get optimized and get polished. Just give it some time. They even said that they are planning updates for the game. Just be patient and positive.
