artem gogolov 1:25 HOW U MADE A LOT OF THEM AND ATTACHED IT AND ALSO MADE THE BEVEL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE JOINING?
My guess is that he coppied the whole plane, made it as an instance and snapped it to it's border edge. For example, he snaps newly made plane to his right, then selects those two planes and copies it again, as an instances, only this time, snaping those two new planes on the upper side. Judging by those small gaps in between each of them, I would assume that he used the "push" modifer, to push each plane just a bit away from each other. And by doing all of this, he could make changes to the original plane, and other planes would get the same changes as those were created as instances to the original one. I hope I helped at least a litlle, good luck!!
P.S. There is another way to create something like this. By creating the whole shape as it is, he could've just created a texture out of all of that by following certain steps of which you can find out more on "Arrimus 3D" TH-cam channel. By doing so, he could've simply apply it on a much simpler object (esspecialy important when it comes to UVW unwrap) and that way, he would have less thing to work around. Anyway, here are some usefull videos on how all of that works. I hope it helps, here's what I found really helpful :

Здравствуйте, уже 3 дня питаюсь понять вашу технологию работы с половиной объекта. Изучаю 3Д макс месяц... В обще на 25-ой секунде, вы переключаетесь на целиндр, что бы применить чамфер и работаете с половиной объекта без применения модификатора симетри. Как если не секрет?

You shouldn't have any questions if you work in 3DS Max. Everything's clear here. If you don't work in 3DS Max why not to go and start with the basics? There're tons of the tutorials for beginners.
