    Ha, the old sell a glass of water pitch, true story, back in the 90's in London, i was sales manager for a
    Photocopier dealer, anyway one of the sales guys was interviewing for a top closer to come on board, so he asked this guy to sell him the glass of water. The interviewee pulls out a lighter and sets my colleagues tie alight😂...you never seen anyone beg so much for water😂.....he got the job too..

    I *LOVE* this statement, "Don't tell me what you've done, tell me what you can do." I have a similar ideology, "Don't tell me how long you've been doing something, tell me why you're the best." When someone tells me they've been doing a job for X number of years, instead of telling me how awesome they are at that job, I know instantly they suck... and they know it too.

  • @CommandoMaster
    @CommandoMaster 6 ปีที่แล้ว +35

    Selling is incredibly HARD. Most people who into sales are people who don't have any college degree or have a useless degree and can't find a job so they go into sales. Usually they aren't the brightest people in the world. That's why there's a negative stigma around salesmen because most of them aren't good at selling. It's very rare to actually find a really good and successful salesman.

    This was harder than I thought. I worked as a P.I and I always put the mission first. I was a contractor in Afghanistan and Iraq and went over there without training. I was scared but I pushed through. I am impressed by Grant’s Test. This man is the true master. I had to learn Pashto, French and Japanese. I am finally making big money here. I would leave everything I have and follow him for free. As long as he reached me.

I don't know if you know this or not grant or his employees are allowed to talk any shit they want but do not ever use a curse word or any thing that will jeopardize their relation with the client, similarly in real life throwing that rug would have resulted in so many consequences.

      Quite a development! Thank you for the update and good luck. Sales seems to be one major key in life, because *it affects every single interaction with anybody anytime.* Just this fact alone is a life changing eye opener and I have to say I'm glad Grants customers made it possible for Grant to have the liquidity and the freedom to bring this information out!
      As a side note: It also seems that sales does have something shady, because I am under the impression that you might be lead (by the boss, group, financial drive) to sell things to people which they don't need/require or can afford. If one can stay away from the shady part in sales and manage to stay in honor, then having _"whatever it takes"_ to make a sale is a major key for a sucessful life as far as I am concerned.

    Just stumbled upon this video and looked interesting, so, gave it a look-see.
    Very Enjoyable, watched entire show in one sitting (which is beyond rare to be able to hold my Video Attention for more than 8 minutes!).
    Agree with the choice of Eddie, 100%. My experiences have shown me that oftentimes, the better looking a person is, male or female, the less they use their brains and other talents, because they are so accustomed to getting what they want, simply by "dazzling" others with their good looks.
    Anyway, happily retired now, and don't have to put myself through anymore job interviews, Thank Goodness !
    I see that 2+ years later, as it is now December 2017; that Eddie is no longer with the Cardone organization; but it sounds like (per a comment by him below) that he has "blossomed into a beautiful orchid" by benefiting from Grant and Team's mentoring, as he stated for his reason to want to work there.
