From what I've seen, when you woof at your pup to go to safety they will still be around the fight/hunt and even be in the way at times but they will not fight back or help with the hunt.
The coordination of you snow and the pups are amazing at hunting But on wolf fights i think maple really ought to be careful Also if the pup is like at 30% health if you tell them to back off they do it Fully
You inspired me to get the game (great cus it was 25% off on Steam!) and I'm loving it so far! I only play on Easy at first to get a feel for things. Me (Xena) and my mate (Ares) had five pups: Aphrodite, Athena, Artemis and Apollo. Sadly Aphrodite wandered off and got eaten by an eagle but the rest are almost big enough to move to the rendezvous site! Love your vids, I'm invested so please keep em coming!

I started off on easy with my wolf Holly and her mate Robin, I got 7 pups (Carol, Fruitcake, Star, Sleigh Bell, Night, Ornament, and one more I can't remember at the moment) and I got to endless summer with all of them alive! Charlies, Kayuai, and Jay have definitely pushed me to get the game, and I've really enjoyed it! Right now, I'm holding off for a little while until the saga full releases so I can't wait to continue the Holiday Pack's story!
