@@Tidal_Gamin power level only matters in content that has a minimum power level requirement. In normal VOG and in every normal raid the power level is not inlcuded. If you do a master raid then its usally 1840 or something like that.

Needs to be a disclaimer that the only reason edge transit squeaked out the win is because you had envious and cascade point in the third column. Would have liked to seen Edge Transit vs Cataphract with the same perk combo and rotation. Cataphract definitely still meta imo
Wish you would have done enhanced envious explosive light regnant, I guarantee it would have done over a million, explosive light is underrated especially if you pick up orbs in rotation

I would like to say that I am also a Marsillion-C user. Have a role with envious and cascade and I like it because it shoots really fast. Also got me ~6.6 million damage on caretaker (week 2 + solar weapons empowered).
I used to use it when I had an envious roll. I didn’t know it could get cascade with it. Is there a way to farm it or is it just like a world drop?

The status crystals are supposed to shatter on boss presence. The boss touching it shatteres it since it can't be frozen. I'm not sure if it's hovering is keeping it from happening. The oger may have been a better choice.
Ended up getting edge transit with spike, cascade and frenzy and its amazing
Salvation grip should've been tested while on stasis for the extra shatter damage
the point of this test was to only do basic damage with the reload, anything outside of the the perks on teh weapon wasnt allowed, also it wouldnt realistically have been that much higher in damage. the bonus shatter damage isnt much from those stasis perks, it helps for sure but nothing crazy. the otehr thign to note is sometiems you yourself might not proc the shatter damage all the time during the dps phase, someone else might thats why chill clip rocket launchers arent really all that worth it anymore.
it wouldnt be fair, thats like how cataphract didnt use unraveling its just a basic dps test with only well as a buff

The hullabaloo wave frame didn't have one for all procced when dpsing, would have been pretty decent damage + great utility with something like chain reaction

I always tend to like bait and switch to use Witherhoard or sometimes izanagi alongside it even if explosive is easier and more consistent
Honestly I love cataphract for one reason and one reason only and that is foetracers. I use bait and switch and envi with foe tracers it stacks so well and with strand making them do less damage cuz of unravel I think it makes for great survivability and damage pair it with 2 suspend grenades and wish keeper and the rasenshuriken aspect it makes for great ad clear
i'd like to see a rotation comparison between that and lucky pants/malf or wardens with cataphract and edge...i run void lucky pants/malf/indebted/edge with autoloading and b&s and it destroys warlords ruin (7 to 9+mill on Hefn'd every lfg i run, no matter how good my teammates are)...i proc lucky, leave 1 or 2 in the mag, proc b&s and dump 7 rounds then fire a couple indebted shots if there's still time left on bns countdown/then proc bns again if there's time/then reload malf and repeat
@Beast-mf7br honestly that sounds like such a nice void build especially since the only void build I have is the Orpheus onslaught build but I mean honestly I haven't gotten a god roll edge yet that's why I'm reluctant to use it and well I've been trying to get a certain roll on midnight coup before I go for other weapons but honestly I might just give that up and start farming for the other weapons but shit sounds like you play regularly what the bungie name if you don't mind me asking?

You did not proc One for All on the hullabaloo. It only said one for all x2 in the bottom. it wouldnt have made it meaningfully better, but still
I'd love to see a dmg testing where you just go over some of the common damage strategies. E.g. e few different fusions (sleeper, taipan, cataclysmic), a few rockets (apex, crux, dragon's breath), a few swords (guillotine & lament) and machine guns (retrofit, hammerhead, Thunder, Xeno) and grenade launchers (Edge, cata) and do some ups and downs of those strats and when you should use which
So if they at some point do something to the perk swapping with edge transit, does that make cata the better option?
Is getting the patterns unlocked before final shape enough?Or do i need to also craft em all before final shape?

For hullabaloo, did you shoot it directly at its feet? Cause it can explode AND deal the wave damage. I had a guy on my team in pantheon out dps all of us using hullabaloo somehow.
The numbers here are interesting. While explosive light does do more damage, bait and switch is still going to be better for several reasons. 1 it’s way easier to get activated. 2 you can have swap damage rotations. Using witherhoard, Izzy, wilderflight+mountaintop etc.
The damage swap rotations help you have more total damage and makes your ammo go farther. You’re not blowing all your heavy in one damage phase, you still have some left over along with special ammo. Imo damage values for BnS and explosive light should be swapped. Explosive does more raw damage and BnS does less raw damage due to the incorporation of other weapons
Aside from being strand and getting adept mods is there anything that makes the EA/EL roll Cataphract any different than regnant with the same perks?

FWIW, Dimensional Hypotrochoid might beat the other wave frames but it's probably dependent on this season's artifact perks.
I was doing limited testing as a solo player and found that radiant results in ~31-32% buff instead of 25% with golden gun, might be something to look into
I had 2 mountain tops with the same roll, 1 brave and 1 not. Brave weapon did 1k extra damage per hit on the same boss.
While not the best for DPS. I personally love Dimensional Hypotrochoid on my Heavy Slot.
And it’ll get better in a few weeks with that 30% buff to Chain Reaction.
yes but edge transit will be nerfed. no way you will be allowed to swap perks and keep the mag in final shape

Prospector catalyst should be explosive demolition. Where it gives you the ability to charge with light every shot granted you pick up orbs for each shot.

Im happy with my Edge Transit with Envious Assassin and Bait and Switch
As a strand warlock on necrotic grips i usually use: Izzy, Indebted Kindess, and Edge Transit for any encounter with lengthy dps phases, and right before damage i swap from Indebted to Nessa's Oblation, and it absolutely melts, the cascade point goes Brrrrrrr and then simply grapple reload and start rotation over

Sooo is explosive light better or bait&switch? The top dmg numbers half way through are EL rolls. Keep in mind I do have a shiny Edge with Envious and both EL and B&S with the drum mag. It does not have cascade on it
Depends on how long the damage phase is. People for whatever reason think explosive light on GLs is a 25% buff like on rockets but no, it’s a 60% on GLs. BNS will outpace explosive light long term but explosive light is more front loaded

Yh GL itself doesnt matter. That perk combo and youre good. Rest is just minor stuff its not gonna matter in an actual DPS phase

Unless you combine it with envious it’s way worse, the dps falls off a cliff after the first magazine, while the envious roll has like almost three mags of dps

Parasite has decent options actually, if you use it with any other swap dps it actually becomes almost decent. It has a ton of reserves for the amount it does and hits for like 100k a shot. So you can combine it with a fusion or my personal Supremacy and it can still put out numbers. Hit nearly 4 mil dps solo per 1 phase on the second boss of warlords ruin and in my opinion thats not bad. Of course, if you do a ton of swapping, have a perfect roll edge transit or rocket it will be better, but for being a "one and done" weapon, Parasite with a solar holster isn't bad.

Bait and switch is king! Using a gl or fusion then unloading with envious assassin and bait it the juicy.

The fact, that cross didn't actually proc One-For-All on Hullabaloo on his first attempt needlessly annoyed me XD. Not like it's meta or anything but, it at least would have reached somewhere closer to 810.000 / basically exactly the same as Leviathan's Breath.
For anyone wondering what I am talking about, just look at the buffs to the left of the screen during the DPS test, it maxes out at 2x and never really gets the dmg bonus.
oh yeah and one more thing, as of rn, I'd argue, that enhanced Envious + Vorpal while weaker is the more consistent roll for it, as it should still comfotably reach 660.000, which is no t much, but with a little more love from bungie could be great in certain scenarios, just immagine, we get a boss encounter in the new raid, where we have to hit 2 bosses next to each other at the same time and Hullabaloo manages to just squeeze out enough distance on the wave to hit both, effectively doubling it's dps here (+ well I guess in this case you most likely could even use ofa then, as there'd probably also be ads around).
I wonder if a damage rotation involving Anarchy+Supremacy with Rewind/B&S would be good.
How did you have 22 in the GL loaded for ET (casc + exp light) ?
I have a quirky Acosmic with enlightened and cascade point, zoomies GL.
I think he could have done more with Edge Transit if he switched back to a bow halfway through to re-proc Cascade Point.

@@hhaste there would be no point in that. incandescent isnt a dps perk whatsoever, it spreads scorch on kills so it would be a lot worse since you wouldnt really ever be gettign kills with it while trying to do dps to a boss.

During this fight yes, if there is a fight with a bunch of ads auricular the boss or could go off.
Well, depending on how you're built, that is. Can apply scorch, those stack enough and cause targets to ignite causing a massive load of damage. Very situational.

I got the edge transit roll you have Cross EXCEPT i got deconstruct and ngl i like it more. I know deconstruct is about tp get a nerf BUT idc it is fun to blow thy load that hard and for that long. Plus no setup or bs to deal with.

With the Colony buff, it seems like if you have a load of red bars, you just shoot one round, and it multiplies until everything is dead.
Sadge, no Tyhpon GL5 - the only stasis GL, i was wondering if it can beat Edge Transit with 25% surge like this week in Pantheon.
Should have used typhon gl too. I’ve been pumping out hella damage with that recently. Demo and explosive light. Hella good if paired with strand warlock. Dump 5, threading grenade, dump 5, super, reload, dump 5 more
Cascade bait and switch is the best hands down if you are in short window multiple plate dmg phases like caretaker, golgoroth, explicator, etc. auto loading bait and switch is best for ease of use and consistency with swaps like izi. Envious bait and switch is best for dumping and swaps but if you die a lot you really shouldn’t use it
You gotta test Edge Transit with sticky grenades, cascade point, and deconstruct. I believe it get's pretty close, if not beats bait and switch for dps.
Salvations grip is better on grounded bosses since they’ll break the crystals on their own. Really good on stasis Titan, since you can wave slide combo repeatedly.
But only against grounded Targets. Stasis Titans and crystals struggle against airborne targets.

I definitely think spike nades on cataphract and edge transit is whats making the difference between them. With how many grenades ur shooting, the spike nades damage stacks up to be a decent chunk
Hmmm dosnt salvation grip auto relodes it self after it destroys the crystals? So you could have throw crystals mag dump thr boss but leave 2 shotts then throw crystals shot thr boss with normal shot and the mag would relode it self saveing u tht 1-2 sec to shot more shots 🤔🤔

Keep in mind that those bns numbers are only combined with primaries. With izi, witherhoard or recombination mountaintop those would be even higher.
It’s not that, because you can use other weapons in a rotation with non BNS weapons too. The numbers are skewed because he is reproc’ing explosive light with orbs on the ground instead of only 6

Use Envious Assassin and bonus mags, switch to boss spec and cascade before damage phrase
Augmented drum, envious assassins and then swapped to cascade before damage. Honestly this one should be thrown out because he's effectively using 3 perks and the odds to get this shiny roll is slim. Think the best would envious with B&S or explosive light. Cascade with deconstruct is great for short damage windows though
just watched the archive, looks like swapping to then stowing the envious weapon when it's at double capacity then getting more kills allows triple base mag capacity. he also had mini-frags and backup mag so his base was 8 instead of the default 6
so to get triple in the mag:
1) get to double the mag (10 primary kills or 5 special)
2) pull out envious weapon
3) stow envious weapon
4) repeat step 1
5) pull out envious weapon, should have triple the base capacity
