This absolutely works on discs for sony playstation and playstation 2. I have had 4 games so far go from completely refusing to load to playing all the way thru after about 4 laps of the skip dr. I have personally played them all the way thru to make sure it was 100% successful. I fixed my sheep raider game for ps1, original crash bandicoot, crash bandicoot wrath of cortex and harry potter and the chamber of secrets ps1 and ps2 versions. It should be noted i have the manual version and lubed up with the spray after each lap.
I bought one of these used from goodwill and I had a disk that I thrashed scratches all over it would hardly play, I ran the disk like 8 times around and now it plays great. Maybe it does not work for everyone but it worked for me.

Just to let you know it does help with the circle scratch it doesn't take it away completely but It does make it readable same happened with my l4d2 just follow the instructions and you should be fine I got mine off of amazon for $25 btw

I was just wondering, "God, where can I get a hand crank model?" This thing ground to a crawl, & was barely moving, before utterly draining the batteries. After scouring my house for ANY adapter that would work, I finally found one, & the sad little machine STILL ground to a halt! It's a great thing to have, in theory... but the quality is poop. It works on all XBOX 360 games..if u have a circle laser burn on disc or scratches this will fix it, I just fix my gta5 I didn't want to buy it again..I did two cycles and it just look like new..don't fall for that expensive Xbox skipdr..this one will do the job for ..
You know when you watching your favorite movie in movie night at you house invite your friends and then on DVD player and when you click on scene selections and choose a chapters meanwhile it won't play on the scene it means it's frozen on The whole movie is not playing you know why because you messing up the movie night. What you need is a repair machine discs all you need to do is remove the scratched on any discs you want and when it's brand new the disc will be good as new and then you put the disc on the DVD player when you play the whole movie the disc will not be frozen or stop it's still gonna keep going the whole movie.
+The Restoration of Dr Who Not so. You don't want to do this on blueray discs. The plastic coating is much thinner than CD's and DVD'S. It will work on the older PS1 and PS2 discs but not the PS3 discs as they are bluerays.
