Hi friends!! In today's video, we go behind the scenes of (aka I nicely asked the director if I could vlog during sitzprobe and he said yes. Thanks Jim) of my latest show LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST THE MUSICAL!
Also, I know a bunch of you guys have wanted to hear my sing-- and I do that in this video! It's been a journey (one I'm still working on getting comfy with) singing pop-rock/contemporary musical theatre. The vast majority of my career, I only sing legit, high soprano and I don't do that in this show. So, please be nice I'm new here lol.

Romance, revelry and enchanting music ignite in this contemporary, yet lovingly faithful, musical adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy. Using the original text, Love's Labour's Lost reunites Obie Award winner, Michael Friedman (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Fortress of Solitude) and two-time Tony Award nominee, Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher) as they bring their one-of-a-kind sensibility to the immortal words of the Bard. The King and his best buds decide at their five-year college reunion to swear off the joys of women. But when four cute, clever girls from their past show up, they're forced to reconsider all of that nonsense! Add in an outlandish Spanish exchange student, a performance art-loving professor and an entire brass band, and love and devotion are put to the test with hilarious results. Smart, sexy, outrageous and irreverent, Love's Labour's Lost is a madcap celebration of true love and coming of age.

Theatre kids are their own species i swear
It's true, once you join even one show you transform into a magical multi talented beast with the weirdest sense of humor you could think of. We are usually spotted half asleep at rehersal goofing off and referencing the show, or dancing because every song is a bop in our tired state.
