I’ve seen this tree. It’s amazing. It’s humbling. It’s spiritual. If you can visit, do it.

Not humbling enough probably. A tree that was there before the great man who descovered and saw it for the first time was even born. Linked his biases and human identity to it. Id rather just call it the largest tree on the planet.

@@NasierOmranthat’s a nice judgment from someone who’s never been in its presence. Like the man who made this comment after seeing it, I too, visited it. And he’s right. It’s humbling and spiritual.

If the timber industry would have had their way that tree would not exist

You said largest living organism in the world, this is not correct, the aspen in Park City, Utah earns that award as they share a common root system, miles of trees, all clones of the original, living as one single organism. But still impressively humongous!!! Thanks for the video.

Haven't seen the general Sherman yet have passed by a few times driving through. Lost some old pic's that even the light in the photo was different because the trees are so tall and massive.
If a full grow tree like this fall in a forest, there's a small earth quake.😂
Got to go, dorkfish 420 ✌️😎

Good video. I left a like. Not trolling neither, because of my previous comment.

That’s not a living thing. How is a tree alive. It’s not dead but not alive. It’s really in between. You need to live a life to be alv.

    • @javierpowell4705

it fits all the boxes of being alive, it's made of cells, and can reproduce. it even has DNA. Plants are another side of nature, same with fungi.

What better way to prove life than something which grows

    • @Galaxed

A tree is a living organism just as any animal is. Just because it doesn't have a nervous system doesn't mean it isn't alive.

@@indrajithak47 THIS! And well, a cigoto on its mother’s womb grows and there’s people that think it’s not a living being, but somehow they have to “kill”… Proving things to these kind of people is useless anyway…
