I guess that's what's known in Farming as "Running the new Tractor in gently" 😹😹😹 At the very least you gave it a workout - and the commentary was hilarious, Thanks Tom.
That tractors a beauty proper beast.. I love your theory plenty of horses & drag her threw… it’s each to there own same as everything in life… but the tractor driving its self at the click of a button is amazing.. but it would bore me to death I’d be asleep 🤣 i need to be driving/steering & actually in control doing summing rather than the tractor doing it for me lol.. great video tho Tom 👌
We could do with some of that rain here. I live in Marlborough's Wairau valley and everything - and II mean EVERYTHING - is planted with grapes, but the next valley south is mostly sheep, and they have had just 11cm rain in the last nine months!
It’s the speed that amazes me. Back in say 1997 I did a mod on a pottinger rear mower set so it could angle up more and leave some green in the grass stem when silaging. They said it recovered faster for the next cut. Anyhoo, 27ft cut at 15mph. Just astounding. And it had conditioner drums, so no idea how much fuel it used per hour. :o)
A very different beast to the Ford 4000 I learnt to drive on. That was an old girl back then as she was on a H reg on the old plates, she was registered in 1969. I wasn't even a twinkle in my Dad's eye then. The last tractor I drove was a John Deere that had the split screen with the door. Can't remember what model number she had. or registration year, she was the Plant Foreman's Run about at British Sugar. That had more controls but I didn't use them as I hadn't a clue what they did. The New stuff like your MF is another planet with the technology it has. I always wanted to work on a Farm and the nearest I got was a Poultry Farm in my Teens in the early 90s.
I imagine you get plenty of practice farming in the wet in the UK, but we wouldn't take a tractor near a paddock that waterlogged. I can hear the ear-bashing I'd get already. "Are your eyes painted on? Can't you see it's too wet? You'd better hope we have a long enough cable to pull it out." Etc. BTW Tom, I think you could do with dumping a load of rock just inside the paddock gate. It is a high traffic area, after all 😉.
stop stop stop. new video next to someone called Colin building a tunnel. funny he built a bunker in a few weeks. but no tunnel to it or driveway now a joke project. keep up the back bone of life. u grow show why how great all u are.
those new Masseys look so good, given that they just use last gen Fendt gearboxes and the krisp Agco Engines they do make for some nice tractors, just stinks that they don´t get the full range of PTO speeds, but the price it pretty neat
Why is there no market boards tom on ur 8s 300 and lot uk tractors bare jd an claas tractors don't have them on and that is 300hp tractor and even your old 8s hadn't them on it over in Ireland they have them all on 😢😂anyway love no why uk tractors don't have them on then on bigger tractors like yours only claas or jd I notice in uk have on
It's Eastenders u should be on........tried ur best to get stuck all day then when it kinda got stuck u made a big song and dance about it ......boring
Thanks for planting wild flowers on the wet part! The pollinating insects sure need a hand right now.
I found your channel via seeing you on the Colin Furze channel. I can see why you are mates. Very entertaining videos from you so far.
Great video Tom it was a tad wet in a few places at least you know where there’s a bit of a big puddle to wash the tractor 👏👏👍👍
Hi Tom - all the serious people seem to go for the Milwaukee powered grease gun.
Thanks
That stuff was creamy. Well done for not getting to stuck. You did well for getting out of that gateway. thanks for sharing....
Loving the cab tour. Im very impressed with that Massey. Plenty of horse power ❤❤

Good job there Mr Lamb. It’s getting warmer and a bit drier here in S.Devon
Hope it gets better up there soon for you.
All the best to you
More rain forecast
At least you've got a wheel wash on site lol ❤

Crikey that's amazing 👏
What a beast that massey is
Getting top few inches turned over will aid drying out quicker if it can stay dry
Just love this vid
How does the field shape get stored into the GPS planner? Drive once or twice around the edge?
Just once then it stores it
Keep doing them lines, you’ll have the police down there
Amazing ❤
The fact that the steering wheel doesn't turn on automatic mode creeps me out, it seems wrong.
8:50 since this I can't see that your seriuos in this video...! And since 9:36 it's just carnidge!! Like your Videos though
Smashin.

Think September they are coming in
With all your farming/construction knowledge, how come you don`t fix the drainage issues in the fields?
Because it’s next to a river …..
