    The most needless death ever
    But that boy knew the Lord was calling him home...he was ready. Still very tragic

    This is a beautiful example of forgiveness and what Jesus taught us. It sounds very much like this little boy had a visit in the night and knew...I don't know but I pray you all will rest in knowing he's with Jesus. Thank you for sharing your story!

    I work with the police in my job position all the time. I also grew up in Alaska, where guns were very present in my house (I grew up on moose meat), and dangerous wildlife could be found in our yard at any time (moose and black bears were frequent). The idea that it was NECESSARY for police to shoot (and obviously, not very well) a snake at a birdhouse is absolutely confounding to me. If human life isn't in imminent danger, the protocol for every presinct I've worked with would be to trap said snake and release it far away from human habitation. Pretending that discharging a service weapon to get rid of a snake that wasn't causing imminent danger is beyond comprehension. And the fact that supervisors above responding officers doubled down and wouldn't admit extreme poor judgment by the police using their service weapon on a snake in a bird house and shooting a 5 year old in the head to his death is absolutely unconscionable. I have a personal relationship with Jesus but that doesn't make anything about this okay. The officer choosing to discharge his weapon should be haunted day and night by his reckless manslaughter of this little boy, DEFINTIELY until he chooses to admit his culpability and asks forgiveness from the child's parents. Sorry, not sorry. We are saved by grace but the Bible is VERY CLEAR about taking responsibility for our actions. (Go ahead, challenge me...I KNOW MY BIBLE and while the officer can be forgiven by grace, God still expects personal accountability.)

    This story just breaks my heart 😢. He wept that morning. And was so worried. I just beg to think what if they kept him home after he said that. But we won't know. He's with Jesus now and waiting to see his family one day, I know he's a grown man in heaven. 🥺. I heard through people grow up to around age 30 in Heaven. Old doesn't exist there. ❤

      It was unintentional and the man was repentant. Imagine if it had been intentional and the man was unrepentant.

      Unforgivness can put you in Hell

    • @triciapowell8251
      @triciapowell8251 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@laurac9857 Nope. That's not your call to make. EVERYONE has fallen short of the glory of God and deserves Hell and that includes you. The Bible is VERY clear that there is ONE Lawmaker and ONE Judge and that is not you nor I. You have absolutely no place telling someone what will land them in Hell. Because so will gossip. Or judgment of others. Those are sins that will "put you in Hell", too. The only reason you might make it is because you might have accepted that you are COMPLETELY SINFUL all on your own and your only hope of walking through the narrow gate into Heaven is only by the unmerited favor of God through the covering of yourself by the righteousness of Christ being extended to you, solely through grace that you don't deserve.
