you are spot on - love the suspension - i am a fat arse and got heavier springs but am going back to stock - the confidence it gives me as a clubman is very appreciated
Thank you so much and really appreciate the support! Loki go to try our best to get to 20K subs so appreciate every view and share! I have the best community, thank you ✊
Congrats on reaching 10k milestone.👍👍 So nice to know there are more OCD trials riders out there, who clean their bike thoroughly. At Every trial I get comments on the cleanliness of my bike, and so many use their dirty state of their bike as a badge of honour, I just don't get it, trials bikes are bloody expensive. Why wouldn't you spend a couple of hours cleaning and doing maintenance? Looking forward to the next video.
Dan!!! That imposter guy at 6.05 sounds just like you! Bit of a shock for me, that was! I hadn't seen him before! Love seeing the shop and listening to the owner talk about it. And of course the bike review. Thanks. Me- in reverse order! In NZ....TY 250 (1986), Bultaco 250, TY175 and once upon a time a very beautiful new 1976 RM125 a TM 125, (all in NZ) and back in the UK-Sussex- before we left to go to NZ, I started on a TS Suzuki 125 converted to a motocross bike, back in 1975!
Love the video. I’ve old ridden one of the older vertigo 200’s (175) model and absolutely loved it. Would you be able to maybe do a video on the 22 montesa 301rr? I’m looking at a repsol model as my next bike. Not much in the way of good videos on them.
Curious , why the switch from 4 stroke Honda to 2 stroke Vertigo ? Asking because I’m currently on a 300 RR and while I love the build quality, I’m not in love with the bike. I have briefly ridden a Vertigo and I really liked it. Lighter, easer turning. I’m a newish rider and at my level the sections are all about right turns. I struggle with the Honda. Not so much on my short spin on the Vertigo
You have just answered your own question. Undeniably the build quality is incredible. But the weight is insane…Vertigo wins in too many other areas to be ignored…
another great episode. only criticism is that you could maybe have gone more in depth on the PDI procedure, as in, whats exactly done between getting it out the crate to in the back of the van (i m an anorak, i know), and a bit on the run in procedure, like how many heat cycles, rev range etc, drop the oil once run in or not etc. Also congrats on 10K, thats awesome...and are you planning the SSDT at all?
Hi Billy! No worries and we did make a previous video looking at a lot of those factors when I had the JBR, but I agree with you of course. I have no plans to ride the SSDT right now as it would be difficult to make a video to our level at an event like that.
I bought a 2016 combat to see what the brand was like, got one ride on it and it totally Shi* itself and never rode again. Bought a 300 R2 and it’s excellent. Gonna trade it in for a 23 nitro for a hopeful 24 SSDT entry
Yipeeeeeeeeeee 10K hit !!!!! Yet another brilliant video from Danny Butler and the team !! No a tractor sounds like ? chug chug chug chug ok you get what i mean lol !! yes weather sh t at mo but thats trials keep up the good work my man ase always a Brilliant video !!!!!!! dannys new name ? tractor boy !!! lol
So when you say the vertigo got you excited about trials and how it was part of you starting your channel. What ,if you can say, is it about the bike. Is that much more fun to ride. How so. Thanks. I do like your content.
I have always been a trials (lifelong) enthusiast. But riding the Vertigo made my passion ignite further. I felt my riding went stagnant on the Beta before.
@@TrialTube not trying to be a pain, but what was it about the bike. I remember coming off a beta to a gas gas and thinking that it was more fun to ride. But that was back in 2008. How did the vertigo make you like it so much. Thanks
@@johndimeo1821 the delivery of the power, twinned with the sound and weight distribution. The quality of the grip delivered give confidence to the rider. The instant reaction of the bike due to the immediate response of the fuel infection. It breaths confidence into the rider. Good enough?

Congrats on the 10k mate.
Happy to be on board 🙌
Monday morning is looking even busier since the launch of this video 😜👍

That’s right and no one should celebrate a dirty bike. It’s my pet hate. If you are riding hard and trying your best, do it in every aspect!
Again and as always spot on thanks
No worries
I remember going to B&B motorcycles as a kid, all the bikes under a trap door in the cellar! Ace!
No trap door anymore! Lol

Is there a way to stop the mudguards on pre-nitro vertigos sagging? Looks bloody terrible.

Better than a 22 Gasser because your boots only come up to your ankles on yer 6 foot legs.
And it feels like a 21 bike and not a 2009 bike….

Anyone else cringe by the way the chain was put back on at 2:57 great way to ruin a chain and sprocket.
The wheel was loose and also pushed right forward. Would make no difference
