Gotta blame the writer, I think Also like, unless there will be another movie, this series will end in a rather bad way, or maybe we'll get some kind-of plot twist...
The show needed more time to cook. 3 more episodes left yet it feels like we're only halfway through the story. It feels rushed which coincidentally is something I also felt with Saber. I feel like the ending is going to be very disappointing, if it doesn't leave us on a cliffhanger or something stupid like that. It was so obvious that Gurion was just lying to Atropos, using her loyalty to further his own goals. As for Twilight Majade, the outfit kinda looks like it incorporates some elements from Kamen Rider Wind which is...fine I guess
While I do like what they were going for in this ep, all of it felt way undercooked, and I agree with your statements. Going by the producer blog of the episode, it seems like even the writers were struggling to format this episode. To quote some excerpts: "The writing staff struggled a lot to come up with that C answer. It was quite difficult for them to put themselves in Houtarou's head and come up with ideas while also keeping in mind the fact that he is fighting alongside Chemies." and "It's already hard enough to have the familiar appearance of the main character change over and over again. And it would be easier for the younger viewers to relate to the second and third (Riders) if they remained in their original appearances throughout the year." To quote an excerpt for the reason of the incredibly late debut: "The strongest form is called strongest because it will never lose. To achieve that, the story, the actors, the staff, everything must be at its strongest and final form!" While I do agree with this statement to an extent, especially so the Rider won't be jobbed towards the end of the season, this one felt rushed, and needed more to that subplot in order to feel impactful.
Yeah I understand where you’re coming from and I agree with some of your opinions tbh. Tbh I kinda knew Geryon wasn’t really serious about saving Atropos. I saw that crap coming from a mile away. While it’s true he does have some sort of fascination with her, it’s more on how she can further his goals than actual love. I actually like Twilight Majade but I can see why you don’t as well. It’s not my favorite secondary final form but I like it more than others from past seasons. This episode imo was a 7/10.

Good video, can't wait for ep 49 review
