  • In answering a question about one's reaction to facing the death of a relative, Francis discusses grief, our eternity, and living without regrets.
0:00 Is the sense of emptiness amidst the experience of pain or terror, the peace or happiness you speak of?
    3:02 Grief
4:40 It's not indifference; it's having found this place of eternity
    5:40 Dying
6:50 Jean Klein called death "The Great Forgetting"

    Partial transcript:
"Often when people are dying they know they are dying. The most stupid thing to do is to come to this person and say "oh no you're going to be better." And they know you are giving them this BS, and so that prevents any real communication in these last moments or last days or last weeks.
You see? Whereas to acknowledge the death of the body, and you can tell them "Yes, we are all dying. The moment the body was born, it started dying."
It's a question of living without regrets...living it in a perfect manner.
And it's never too late. It's never too late to do what one has to do. Ideally we should live our life leaving no unfinished job, so that we could die like that, without any regrets."

What a blessing to receive these profound teachings from an authentic teacher. I feel the love and understanding even just through these youtube videos. I suppose it's the Power of Truth!
    Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful.

Even with all the instructions flying around on how to live life we've figure it out on our own.... and certainly no one prepares us for dying. Strange!
But it is good to sprinkle humor on morbid topics for easy digestion.. loved the talk Francis 😇❤🙏🏻

    For myself,
I think all the 'why' questions come out of fear or desire.
This mind can not rest in the unknown and silence.

This allows you to not focus on material death but rather the aliveness of love truth and beauty.
Thank you Francis for such clarity of the path❤️

I just want an inner knowing I will be met with only unconditional love and healing of my spirit in this life and upon my leaving of this life . And what I’m supposed to do while here . NDES help but I would love that inner shift into higher levels of divine love . That’s kinda my prayer to our creator .

I feel the same. I wonder what that inner knowing would feel like, and even many people who have NDEs and who come back feeling they have something to finish, they are still not sure what that something is. As I get older (in my 60s now) I feel that time is running out.. for such insight! All I do seems to be a bit banal, lots of rather fraught babysitting, when I realise I am more irritable than I was as a young mother many years ago, lots of forgetting where I put my keys.... Can there be anything useful to the universe about this?
