- In today’s driving tour, we will be starting our drive from the Port of Los Angeles and then heading to the beautiful coast of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, the Coastal Gem of Los Angeles County. The Palos Verdes Peninsula is a collection of four cities (Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills and Rolling Hills Estates). Here you will see the best coastal views in Los Angeles County. We will continue our drive along the California Coastline to Redondo Beach and ending in Manhattan Beach. That’s 80s/90s LA when crack was king. LA, as a whole, is one of the safer large cities in the US and the gang violence is mostly tucked away in areas no tourist would ever find themselves in.
