I don't think they will make enemies that are debuff-resistant because that's effectively going to kill one of the playstyles they've introduced to the game which is DoT and that's also pretty much deleting the entire path of Nihility. Rappa is not an entirely new concept. I don't think she can offer anything that Boothill or Firefly cannot with the information we have right now.
Personally, I think Acheron is still worth pulling for her technique alone. I don't think they will ever meaningfully power-creep insta-killing mob enemies, and the amount of annoying little fights Acheron can skip is just insane. You can even simultaneously give three characters free leveling exp if Acheron insta-kills mobs while they are in the same team. Best of all, you don't even need to build Acheron to get these benefits.
You cant discount the fact that acheron is mei in the lore section. She’s a fan and dev favorite and I wouldnt be surprised if they specifically allow her to remain relevant for a long time. Edit: She’s been a herscherr, archon, and now an emanator
Sunday as a general recommendation because harmony is the best class in the game and they fit in most team comps. If you want a cracked break team go for tingyun
I started playing right after Acheron's banner. I have a built Pela, I have Jiaoqui, I struggle on any of the endgame modes anytime there's a lightning weakness. I've gotta go for Acheron.
I’m in a different situation because I started in 1.4, I pulled silver wolf and Jiaoqiu and got Acheron e0, but my clears of moc aren’t consistent, so I look to get her lc and adventurine
That Jingliu vs Topaz reference is a great example of why I am so against prejudging characters before they actually come out. Argenti was dumped on. Topaz was dumped on. Ruan Mei was only hyped up by the coomers. Boothill was dumped on. Ratio was dumped on even with him being a freebie. Gallager was dumped on and that dude aint even a 5 star lol. The pre release opinions are almost always wrong unless a character is just OBVIOUSLY strong. If there is any nuance or situational application involved we just never get it right until after the character is out and we get people actually building them.
Rappa is an ok character on her release but she'll get much stronger when Tingyun releases because she has the new Exo-toughness implant, so Rappa can break a single target multiple times. Of course this also giga buffs firefly and Boothill, but it's good to know that Rappa isn't just left in the dirt if you decide to get Tingyun. Without tingyun yeah ez skip
Future investment is always risky, since there is a real (financial) incentive for new SSRs to be outright better. Also, characters like Silverwolf used to have a unique ability to weakness implant, but Penacony characters being able to weakness implant has diminished this. I mostly view DPS characters in a more traditional role of ST vs AOE, and with this lens I'm heavily biased towards blast characters, since their AOE and damage scaling makes them feel good to play over a wider range of content (e.g. single bosses, multiple targets etc). I'm also wondering how much newer DPSes will be allowed to scale their power, without making older SSRs completely unviable. If powercrept is kept under control, then I believe Acheron / Rappa should see play for quite some time.
As someone who isn’t invested in Acheron and has no plans to e2 or e1 any limited 5* character yet, I would probably lean to aventurine or rappa. I kinda wish in comparison videos, it would show e0 against e0 more often as that’s what I consider the realistic f2p expectation and a side note at the end on if u saved even more than most or r just a whale.
Regarding the enemy eff res thing I feel or hope that is unlikely to happen since that would also affect DoT team, pretty much majority of Nihility units too.

In addition, a very reliable source states that part of Fugue's E2 (Eidolon 2) includes that when Fugue uses her Ultimate, she advances all allies' actions forward. The percentage of E2 Fugue's full-team Action Advance (AA) has not been stated. Many suspect it is (well) below 100%, closer to that of the 4* harmony gacha DDD (Dance! Dance! Dance!) light cone, which has a maximum of 24% full-team Action Advance at S5 (Superimposition 5).

I'm feeling really frustrated with the pulls as of late. I really really need a second team for PF/MOC. I started my account just at the end of Boothill's run and got Firefly at almost pity. Since then I have pulled Jiaqui and Robin because I want to have a good support for whomever I finally get. I'm so impatient because honestly there's so much content that I can do for resources if I just had a strong second DPS. I had originally been playing with Serval and despite investing in her it's just too much (imo) going from her to Firefly. I didn't try for Feixiao because I didn't have Robin and the argument of no Robin don't bother was pretty convincing with the gameplay evidence. I think my best bet is to wait until Herta, but man that's depressing...
Acheron's a soild pull, Especially if you have Jiaoqiu, and I would say to have Acheron at her Most Efficent, I'd say her Lightcones also a Valueable pull, she's still very Soild and Meta Competitive in MOC and AS, while in PF, she decent with Jiaoqiu or Dotcheron. Rappa: There are good reasons to Skip and pull: Skip, If you already have a lot of DPSes, Stacked 2.7, and she's probably not the most meta efficient thing to pull unless your talking PF, She's basically the most Meta efficient in PF, She's soild in AS but probably between Top 5 and 10 most efficient in AS, and she's very decent in MOC. Pull if you like her or for fun or especially if you need a Pure fiction carry that can do fine outside of PF. Honestly you can Skip both if your more focused on the Value haven which is 2.7.
Rappa’s kit is just fundamentally flawed like she doesn’t have good multipliers or effect res or energy overload or weakness implant. She also runs against firefly which is the most popular unit in the game. Nothing really stands out.
Honestly people way overvalue acheron at E0 S1. Without JQ these days a F2P acheron team will struggle in both apoc shadow and PF. I have E0 S1 and JQ and taking him away for a Pela, Guinaifen, Gallagar team makes it so that she cant even get over 3100 points against Phantylia. No JQ acheron in PF is just cope unless it's a particularly favourable week with buffs.
@@thedg2531 Not really. Acheron needs her premium team because at E0 and E1 she needs 2 nihility. Where other dps dont have a requirment like that. For example there are many good Feixiao teams: Feixiao Topaz Robin Aven Feixiao Moze M7 Gallagher both teams clear where Acheron using Guin and Pela for example isnt very good in comparision. Still probably clears but the strict requirment makes her only able to use units from a small list.

Play since day 1 (f2p all away) and unable to get Jing Yuan hence at beginning I don't have Lighting DPS till I have Acheron. Acheron only have E0S0 but my Pela and Gallagher/Lingsha well build. So, I may skip Rappa and save more on sustain/support character like Sunday and Fugue.
I started in 2.3. This is the first patch I'm gonna skip, and considering Harmony characters sort of break the game, I'll use what I get for Sunday and what's left for Tingyun.
Lightning dps and physical dps is my weaknesses made a mistake leveling luka when i should have used that for sushang beginner mistake man when i dont even have kafka or black swan. Gotta deal with that unfortunately. Acheron even e0 helps my account aa serval is my only lightning dps unless i eventually level up my e5 moze after i build gallager and sparkle
E2S1 Acheron with the right team turns most of the game into easy mode. But I wouldn’t use her e0s0. The 2 nihility is too limiting and ult stacks would be too slow Still had better results with E2S1 firefly though because Mei stun

What do you mean rappa more easy to build than Acheron? You can use any Nihillity units with her then put gallagher there and you good to go. While Rappa on the other hand you most likely need Ruan mei which a 5 star unit, so... i dont agree with you EOD But, again it is just my opinion. And i HOPE Fugue will buff Rappa , and if she does... I will definitely pull Rappa. As always good video mate 😎
People being so dismissive of Rappa has been the most infuriating thing. Acheron is amazing, and likely will be for a while. No one doubt's she's good. But people act like Rappa is useless, when she's not at all. Not to mention Imaginary AOE, and one that doesn't require the careful planning ILDH does. They're both solid options and the petty side of me really hopes Rappa and Acheron pull a Topaz/Jingliu some day, even if its not as likely. Also, I still think building wide is better than tall in this game. All my 5stars are E0, with only two Sig and I'm having a way better time than if I went for like E2.

tbh e0s0 acheron without JQ or BS better be benched. the most overrated and overglazed character. if you only have SW as limited nihility, just run Ratio hypercarry with herta LC. it is better than e0s0 acheron with SW pela galagher. even worse if you don't have any limited nihility.
I would go for her then. You can beat the game with anyone if you invest properly. Rappa is great for the Pure Fiction end game mode. So if you like super break stuff and want to conquer that mode, Rappa should do fantastic. I would consider looking into Acheron though to see if you think she is fun, because...yes. She is very powerful in all modes. But yeah. If you think Rappa is cool, she should be great for Pure Fiction and story, plus some other things like Swarm Disaster and stuff
Rappa seems good and some of her supports would be harmony mc and Gallagher who are both free. She seems like she can work against enemies that aren’t just imaginary. I’d say try out her kit when she comes out and see how you like her kit.

Here is my intake why this filler is SUS, from speculation and info, its speculated 3.0 will have new map and Herta's emanator form and a girl from HI3 coming but idk if these are true besides the new map, I'm pulling Rappa and that girl from HI3 hehehe :) :P
They do different things. Is your DHIL E0S0? E0S1 is still good damage, but has a lower damage ceiling than Rappa, but not having weakness implant hurts her since she does absolutely no damage without breaks. E2 Daniel is a different beast but unfortunately it is no longer worth it since those resources are better spent on new characters. Good luck with your pulls!

Blast characters are very nice. Also if you have been building the defacto blast DOT team, you might be happy in 3.0. Dreaming of course.

People being so dismissive of Rappa has been the most infuriating thing. Acheron is amazing, and likely will be for a while. No one doubt's she's good. But people act like Rappa is useless, when she's not at all. Not to mention Imaginary AOE, and one that doesn't require the careful planning ILDH does. They're both solid options and the petty side of me really hopes Rappa and Acheron pull a Topaz/Jingliu some day, even if its not as likely.
Also, I still think building wide is better than tall in this game. All my 5stars are E0, with only two Sig and I'm having a way better time than if I went for like E2.

To be fair, I don't want Acheron to be benched, and I hope that debuffs will always scale better over time, causing her to improve. I also love Rappa's design and animations and the whole concept of the galaxy rangers, and I hope she is able to prove everybody wrong (One can dream can't he?)
tbh e0s0 acheron without JQ or BS better be benched. the most overrated and overglazed character. if you only have SW as limited nihility, just run Ratio hypercarry with herta LC. it is better than e0s0 acheron with SW pela galagher. even worse if you don't have any limited nihility.

I would go for her then. You can beat the game with anyone if you invest properly. Rappa is great for the Pure Fiction end game mode. So if you like super break stuff and want to conquer that mode, Rappa should do fantastic. I would consider looking into Acheron though to see if you think she is fun, because...yes. She is very powerful in all modes. But yeah. If you think Rappa is cool, she should be great for Pure Fiction and story, plus some other things like Swarm Disaster and stuff
Rappa seems good and some of her supports would be harmony mc and Gallagher who are both free. She seems like she can work against enemies that aren’t just imaginary. I’d say try out her kit when she comes out and see how you like her kit.

Here is my intake why this filler is SUS, from speculation and info, its speculated 3.0 will have new map and Herta's emanator form and a girl from HI3 coming but idk if these are true besides the new map, I'm pulling Rappa and that girl from HI3 hehehe :) :P

Should I pull for Rappa if I have DHIL?
They do different things. Is your DHIL E0S0? E0S1 is still good damage, but has a lower damage ceiling than Rappa, but not having weakness implant hurts her since she does absolutely no damage without breaks. E2 Daniel is a different beast but unfortunately it is no longer worth it since those resources are better spent on new characters. Good luck with your pulls!
