I loves me some Wes Anderson. This one is one of my favorites. What 70s kid didn't, at some point, want to be a marine biologist because of Jacque Cousteau? Or Pele. Or Evel Knievel? I know I wanted to and emulated all three. This is one I didn't need to go rewatch, as it's one I watch often. As usual, you've covered all the good stuff. Thanks, fellas, for another good breakdown. Rushmore is my favorite though, if not only for its epic soundtrack, but its sort of timelessness. Like it could exist in a few decades pretty easily.

The use of music is legendary. I remember seeing it (I was in LA at the time, and viewed it a month before its official release), and I could not believe what I was hearing. The uses of The Creation, Cat Stevens and especially The Who's A Quick One (which I thought only my friend and I would would jam on it even remembered) was pitch perfect.
