My wife and i took that river all the way up almost to 301 on our vintage waverunners. There is a canoe rental place and you jave to watch out for them and quite a few logs just under the surface. Youll know your on the right path when you see the "paddle faster, i hear banjos" sign. Also you have to be careful in the cockroach bay preserve. Its mostly canoe and kayak trails. Its called cockroach bay because of all the land crabs in the area look like cockroaches
