Cole The Cornstar, aka Cole, is a 4th generation family farmer from Central Iowa who is the life force behind his family’s 1,700 acre farm. Cole promotes agriculture by filming his day-to-day adventures with his Dad (Daddy Cornstar) and brother (Cooper) on the farm. With a lot of help from Daddy Cornstar, Cole instills humor and education into his videos fit for both young adults and adults. Despite being 22-years old, Cole has an old-fashion work ethic with an innovative approach toward agricultural technology and practices. Cole's mission is to prove the American Dream is not dead and be a megaphone for agricultural education and innovation, from technological advances in farming equipment to conservation practices.

I cannot thank you Cole and your family for helping me through this Covid thing. You all made my life brighter and made me feel like life was not in black and white but in glorious full colour. Please continue doing what you’re doing and god bless you and your family.
I am very grateful as well! My family lives in the county that has the highest Covid cases in Kansas. My family isolates ourselves from others quite a bit. It has been becoming difficult for the past couple of months. I am very thankful to be able to watch Cole's, Nave's and Summer's vlogs. I love the Cornstar family! I love all of you! Thank you for the entertainment!!!! May God Bless You and Your Lives! ❤
I fully agree. We hunkered down due to autoimmune conditions and Cole was the bright spot for sure. My daughter started watching because of the plant science they studied in grade 7 and how it linked to the corn crops.
Cole.. I lost my dog to cancer today and your videos really help me emotionally most the time but today’s I thank you for sharing your videos to world!
I'm sorry to hear that!
I love how y’all are willing to follow who ever has the initiative for a project. It’s such a great way to support each other.
I love the way your family pitches in to help one another. That’s LOVE.
Thank you for sharing your friends mission, love that the family pitched in to take down the siding.
Grandpa Cornstar would be so proud to see the farm and house blooming again.
Who knows, he might have been a real curmudgeon.
i gather he would have hated the throwing away but pleased with final product
I think grandpa cornstar is really happy that the farm and the house are getting a new facelift
He would have asked Cole, what did you do with all of my stuff. Cole: Scrapyard.
Y'all are getting a lot done! Cole, you are blessed to have Cooper for a brother. What a great help!!
Way to go Cooper! That’s how to motivate people and get things in motion. Looking forward to seeing the plans for the porch.
You each add something to the family dynamic that makes every video interesting and fun to watch.
What a great dad! Love their relationship. So supportive.
The house is looking great!! I love old houses like that!! Also, thank you for giving us the opportunity to help your friends out. Good luck to them and I will be praying for them.
Daddy Cornstar is most wholesome person I’ve ever seen. Sending positive energy 💓💓
I love it when you guys are busy. So much happened and I love watching this channel daily and I always look forward for it. Love you guys!
Cole I hope you are going to try and restore the windows in the attic. They are beautiful and when you finish the attic like you and Nava were talking about you both will be happy that you did. Copper it is so nice of you for wanting to get started on the siding. The house and farm is turning out gorgeous!
You are so right! That house is a gem! And they are making it a home. On hot days they can open the attic windows on the shaded side and put a heavy duty fan in to pull the hot air up and out from the lower floors. Old fashioned screen doors also help to get the air moving. Windows were double hung for a good reason!
Definitely going to restore the attic... it’s the coolest room in the house!
Daddy Cornstar you n the boys have such a great bond n work ethics. Blessings to y’all.
The exterior house project has me excited. Can't wait to see the porch rebuild. I have to give Cooper credit. He is a very hard worker for a young man. All of you have great work ethics. Grandpa Cornstar is shining down. God Bless
Nothing better than watching theses videos to see what farming is like over the pond! Keep it up. Hopefully you'll still be making videos in 20 years
Frickin awesome. What a difference it makes to have a supportive family. Wishing you all the best!
Nice to see the progress on the house! Great to see you all working together! 🌞
Amazing that Kevin from Junkyard Digs knows Cole the Cornstar. Small world. And they get along too.
I absolutely adore you and your entire family. You live in 4 to 6 planting zone which I have little knowledge of your garden planting season. I live in Placerville, Calif in zone 9 which is a long growing season our last frost date is April 2 and our first frost date is in Oct. I started my garden in mid Feb in a green house and move the vegies outside in mid April. I am so happy for Nava that she has started a home garden. If she has the time and interest, she can visit a web site on U Tube called Roots and Refuge Farm. Jessa is very helpful to provide information on gardening. Jessa is in Ark which is 7a zone. She has helped me a lot. I hope to watch you and your family for years to come. We are currently under "house arrest" and It is a joy to watch your videos.
Love these old house videos, its a big job but nothing that Corn Stars can't handle, its going to be great, the progress is moving along at a good pace. this family is so awesome and pure all working together is great... for all, its not always about the destination as it is the journey itself.
Hopefully someone reads this message .. When I stripped the siding off my farm house I put 2 inch S & M hardcore insulation on the outside . It has the equivalent of 4 inches of fiberglass insulation . Which saves tearing the walls a part . You got to get the old insulate brick off or it will cause rot . Anyway if you the S&M it screws on with washers then you can brick or cover it with whatever .. It is just condensed st foam . Works real well and the panels fit together easy . I am from Canada and we are cold up here so insulation is very important
Daddy Colestar: "Never gonna get done if you don't get started." Wisdom, right there.
DC still showing off those abs. Next we will see him lifting weights.
So apt! That happened to me about 5 days ago. Been holding a bunch of concrete building blocks to line my front yard garden beds for at least 2 years now, and finally in the middle of this damn heat wave decided you have GOT to get off your butt and get that done. At least START it. And so I did. After plenty of huffing, puffing, sweating my clothes and hair wet all the way through, and lots of showers later, it's nearly done and is looking FAAAAB UUUUU LAAASSSSSSS, darlings! Yep, you won't never get done if you don't get started.
Thanks for the opportunity to support your friends. There is no better seed to plant!
Great leadership Cooper. Love for your brother!
You should think about adding mini-splits (air conditioners) to a few of the room in the house. They are very efficient, and many heat and cool. They are great for old places without duct work for central air.
Just Make sure you get ones with good capacity. It's easy to install ones that don't put out enough heat or cold for a particular room or two.
Its always exciting when you see the amazing results from renovations...it is hard to keep the enthusiasm going when you stop starting on a project but like daddy cornstar said you just have to bite the bullet and get on with it. House will look great when finished. So good that it is getting all the attention and preservation for future generations to enjoy.
Love the channel and the notices I get that there is a new video. Really helps during these times. One bright thing I look forward.
I’m with you Adam, depressing times without TH-cam. Stay safe and God bless
I’m your second subscriber 😆
You’re wearing the corn t shirt I sent you! You made my day!
It’s a great shirt! Thank u for sending it 🥰
Looking good Cole yea your grandpa would be so proud of you all god bless you and your family
It’s such a blessing watching family work together on a beautiful project🙏🏻
I live in Phoenix now but as a kid I used to visit my uncle in Iowa City and he had a farm house very similar to this house. Love to visit the farm in Iowa when I was a kid! Wish you all well and success in the future.
Love seeing the old siding coming down. However, hope ALL you guys are being extra careful in the hot, humid weather. Don't want to hear that any of you suffered heat stroke or heat exhaustion. Take care!
Glad to see work starting on the house again. It's looking better and better.
Love the MG Midget. Basic 1960's British engineering. Easy to work on once you understand the basics.
Yay! Glad to see you working on the house again. I love Before and After videos, cleaning, rehabbing, etc. Good job Cole and family.
Sweet! Can't wait to see what Kevin does with the MG
That's crazy, When he said the power of numbers and then said if everybody donated 50 cents they could live for 3 years well I'll bet you could Get half the people on here to donate a dollar. I'm in!!
My hubby is going nuts over the MG :-) Myself, I am loving the siding being done and can't wait to watch the jobs being done. Loveeeeeeee DIY and have done tons so I guess I am addicted. ;-) Cant wait to see the new porch etc......your home is literally going to be a showplace for sure! Loving what you are doing and high "5" to the whole Cornstar gang!
So excited and happy for you!!!
Blessings
I have been waiting what feels like years for you to restart the siding on your house and im so happy it's here!!! Good luck and cant wait to watch it all come together!!!! Eeek so happy right now!!!
You all work so hard, I've bin watching on my tv, but now I've added you to my phone so I dont miss a thing love you all xx 🇬🇧
The house is so stately and grand. Thanks CS family!
Awwww... I never complain about the length but this one left me wanting more... I guess that's a good thing 😊 I'll stay tuned 👍🏻
What a beautiful and huge mansion! Great team work. For the past 10 years I have been fixing, restoring and insulating our 2 family homes. One is 1910 and one 1914. I am presently working on electric floor heaters. You're right Cole...taxes suck but like your Pops said "hard to finish a project, if you don't start it" haha.
I love the Cornstar family! And I'm really excited for the porch project to begin. It's gonna be a beautiful mansion when your done, it's already looking awesome all around the farm.
I love watching you all get stuff done! It is very inspiring. I'm currently watching this video and taking a well deserved brake a replacing the locking mechanism on my washing machine. Keep up the good work and God bless you all!
Great video! Now I'm asking for prayers for the harmless farmer on Friday he will have surgery. cancer surgery. Keep a man and his family in your prayers.
I used to have a1974 Triumph Spitfire and belonged to a group called "TSBSCO" (tri state British sports car organization) or Tabasco for short. We roamed Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Had all sorts of British cars, from MGs to Jaguars. I had an uncle and cousin who had MGs. Fun times doing poker runs!
I’m so relieved to see the siding continued. My anxiety level armed right down with each board removed. You guys are a kick to watch. Thanks for your testimony too.
Thank you for sharing the need of your friends. We can't help if we don't know the need. You are a good man Cole....Cooper still has the better hair but you are catching up!
It's exciting to see the old mansion being renovated! Thanks for sharing your videos
Wow! I used to run the winterization program back in 1976 for wapello county and I noticed that there were plugs in the exterior walls. We used to drill holes in the exterior walls and use blow in insulation into the walls on houses. Thats exactly what those plugs look like after the walls are insulated.
Wow! It’s looking so good! Good work! Can’t wait to see it all get finished! 💙
Always love the videos and glad to see you use your blessings to help others, especially for such a just cause.
I always look forward to seeing you work on the outside or inside of your house.
wrap that magnet in a plastic bag first, it makes cleaning them off much easier.
Feel free to leave more footage in when you are working on the house. Lol I wouldn't mind 45 minutes.
Agree. Doesn't need to be edited, just let it run.
Sounds good to me
100% agree, the house was the thing that got me started watching.
Yep
That would be nice!
Love those attic windows. They're gorgeous!!!
I wonder what your sub statistics are. I am just a single educated secular woman living in an apartment in a big west coast city but I still love watching your videos. I know so much about farming even though I probably never will do it lol. My favorite videos are the house updates. Anyway stay awesome, open and corny.💟
Best comment from metal dealer " Work harder, not smarter". I have a couple of nephews that always use this method.
Glad to see the house Renovations continuing. I can't wait to see what your house looks like when it's totally done.
Moving on the renovation. This is exciting.
Big fan of Junkyard Digs here... it's a kick seeing Kevin and Cole together! Waiting to see Dylan McCool, Thunderhead289, Hoovie, JR, and Car Wizard show up!
I love how you love god a lot of you tubers don’t like to show that on TH-cam but you did! God Bless!!
I have to say the “color” of the boards is so striking!! Great video! ❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️
Good to see the house being worked on again! Gladly donated $5.00 to Caleb and his wife. I pray they make what they need!
The house is gonna look so much better when you're done I like the new color siding it goes with the farm
Grandpa is watching 👀 hes so proud of u guys cooper is fast like cole u guys work so hard and its really coming together 🤗❤❤❤💯
I once had a house similar to yours. It had like 6" siding I hated. I researched R factors, cost and durability. At that time [1978] I selected vinyl over wood, steel and fiber. I kept the old wood siding on [increase R factor] house in Minneapolis. I wrapped house in insulation wrap with foil for heat control in summer then the vinyl. Even after 40 years it appeared to look new.
I have a midget. I loved it. My husband and his knuckles hated working on it. It’s in my driveway. You can have it.
Glad you got back on the house. Like DC says never gonna get done if you don't start. LOL Really enjoy the house rehab videos. Thanks as always for sharing the farm with us.
I love seeing everything brought back to life.
House looks good with out the siding on it! Quality craftsmanship back then!
Love the kernel corn shirt! The house is going to look great. Looking forward to the finished product.
I love how y'all work together as a family!
Cole, that’s what I’m talking about brother. God is so great and we can always use more of his Grace and Blessings in our lives. I will help out, thank you for using your platform to spread God’s word.
I am so excited to watch the deck transformation
Enjoyed the video, love the way you always work together, i really like watching you work on the home , it'sthe best ! 😊👍💕💕💕
You all are making great Progress on the house, can’t wait to see it finished.
Cole, l was born in the same town where the MG was made! Abingdon England 🏴. The MG site has been gone along time and is now a Housing estate. MG’s was an expensive car, still is 😘. What a coincidence that you had one. I only live about 6 miles from Abingdon now. Love your videos, love your country. God bless you and take care
Can’t wait to see your new porch construction!!
Kudos for the Christian witness and reach out on behalf of the college ministry team. I have been following your channel since March, catching up on past postings. Sooooo thrilled the house is getting attention again. That porch is going to be ahhhhmaaaazing!!!! Blessings!
Coop is always looking for something to do good having him around!!
Love the farm house. Looking good!
A perfect summer day in Iowa. Gotta love those mossies. Ooooooo. It's exciting to see the house putting another arm into her new coat. There is no doubt she will look gorgeous once buttoned up and deck up with a new porch. I have wonderful memories cruising around Southern Ontario in a little robin's egg blue Midget back in the day. Going to check out Kevin's channel. Sending hugs.
Robin egg blue-you must have looked pretty 🔥 cruising around in that!!!
I’ve been binge watching the cornstar family after discovering them through junkyard digs.
You’re doing it right Cole by removing the old siding. A lot of contractors go over the top of the old.👍🏻
And that's how rotted areas and termites get missed! Strip it to bare bones, fix what needs fixing, and update with new.
I know nothing, but wouldnt this be a good time to update at least some of the upstairs electrical? (Go through outside siding instead of plaster walls)
@@karenrobres6181 I was wondering if that would be smart and feasable to
A lot of customers don’t want to pay us to strip it 😉
@@karenrobres6181 o, you do electrical from the inside.... gotta do the outlets etc. Doing it from the outside would be idiotic.
Thank you for sharing your faith in Jesus. Warms my heart to see young people not ashamed to proclaim the love of Christ publicly. Love your channel, I watch it daily. God bless all if you.👍🤗
I look forward to seeing this house done, I love old houses!
Geeze, it already looks great just with the raw wood !
A couple of things stand out for me like checking the rain gauge, wondering what the weather is going to do next, checking the mailbox, reminds me of my family who farmed, it gets into your routine even a generation or two down if you stay in touch with the farmers. I got funny looks living in town most of my life for paying such close attention to the weather. ( Also lived the majority of my life in tornado alley long before we had the kind of access to radar(s) we have now. )
Midnight in the UK, looks like bedtime will have to wait for a few minutes.
Me to 😀
Me as well 👍
From the uk to
Are we a nation of insomniacs or what...?
Yes, the Netherlands as well ; )
A ceiling when it comes to his knowledge. Nicely put.
it’s nice to see that the farm is coming together you guys are putting in a lot of hard work so good job
Yeah, Cooper!! What a great brother!
Good job Cooper! Glad you were able to get Cole and Daddy Cornstar to help work on Cole's house! Too bad that car wasn't parked in an old shed instead of outdoors.
It was in a shed. They recently moved it out of doors.
So excited to see the siding coming off!!!!!!
You guys are such hard workers! Great video again! 💙💙💙
I’m glad you are helping friends along the way . Sent a little not much but sure hope it added up and they can focus on the word of god and not worrying about money for a min . Love love the house projects . I also liked the office parts to . I truly look forward to your post every day . Thank u
