Wow, these obstacles are a real challenge even for purpose-made crawlers and offroaders, but climbing and jumping between the stones with such a heavy "body"... I'm speachless.

I’m very impressed at how you have packaged all the electronics. And the most awesome thing is that it is very easy to change the gears between rolling around and order obstacles low range
Fantastic work on getting this model motorized without hacking up the exterior of the model. Just bought it myself and really keen to see how you've put the motors in
Hi again. Noticed on the Control+ app that Lego have released a new RC car, which uses a single XL and L motor, so unplugged one of the motors, and re-arranged the connections (uses B + D as marked on the 4*4 buggy), and was able to control successfully. Thinking now of taking the top motor out, so that I can put the rear seats back in. Will see what that does to the traction... Also, made some changes under the bonnet so that I could put the winch back in. Needed to push the controller/battery box back a hole (and one higher), but the bonnet still sits correctly.
I was thinking of buying this and i noticed it was scrapped from 42099 and i have 42099 but im not sure im wanting to scrap it and i have new gears to it so it climbs a 56 tops slope too but im not sure if its worth tk scrap my 42099 what do you think in fine on both sides im just jot sure
it is a fantastic motorized version of this model, but wouldn't it be smart to put 4 red springs in the front instead of 2 and 2 gray springs? because gray springs are weaker
Thank you for the video. I installed one by one. but cannot go uphill. There are also crackling sounds. I checked again. No errors in assembly. New product. I couldn't solve the problem. I would be very happy if you comment.
Congratulations on both the original and the RC model. It's a pleasure to have a gearbox built into the RC. If your view rate grows so fast, you won't get bogged down in building a building guide. 😉 Regards: Dokludi

I'm happy to provide files for your instructions, in case you are interested. Great job!!!
Hi Grohl666. Could you please let me know how to get the instructions for motorizing the LEGO Land Rover Defender using 42110 and 42099 parts. Thanks very much. Great admirer of your work!!!

With a bit of modification yes.
