I just picked up my red 2023 Diavel V4 yesterday. Most awesome motorcycle! After 40 miles on highway 49 it rides like a dream. I'm in Northern CA up in the Sierra Foothills. I love the DQS the way it blips the throttle. It is way off the hook. It also feels light as a feather.
I’m in the market for new bike. Weekend use only, small over night trips every other weekend , the odd time I’ll be carrying pillion, once a year will do trip across Europe. Im a large rider, as you see from my profile pic. 107kg. Torn between Streetfighter v4s and the Diavel v4. Been on both and love. Unsure which to go for 🤔 Your thoughts/recommendations?
Only thing I don’t like about mine is the mirrors. I can’t fine the correct position and i’am 5’10. It’s like the mirror’s were made for someone over six feet tall. Will be my 1st mod for sure!
I know this is old but I agree 100%...the mirrors are awful! I am 6' tall and the right mirror in particular wont rotate down enough for me to see anything. Bar end mirrors fixed that thankfully!
Having ridden the S vs non S versions of the Streetfighter V4 and Panigale I must say I really don't see that it's worth the $5000-7000 extra. If the S Diavel V4 does come out thats gonna be what...$32,000-$34,000. Damn! lol. I thought the $27,000 I paid was bad :)
Exactly, suppose its the same theory. Probably ensures a better result for us all in the end though as there is more R&D and investment in 1 engine platform. Thanks, Aaron KNOX
Which Knox jacket and gloves should i go with this Diavel V4?

Great review. Would love to see you go down to Ariel and try their Ariel Ace motorbike, bit of supporting Brit built bikes would be great

Bella!
The closest bike to compare (I'm trading mine in for the Diavel) is the BMW R1250R.
Yamaha vmax?
Rocket 3 is the closest I'd guess.
One thing makes me wonder ducati done what bmw did m140i m2 m3 m4 x3 x4 all have same engine
Guess thats one way to save £££
