Tbh, I didn't expect this cover. AND THE MV IS AMAZINGLY TOO ACCURATE TO THE ORIGINAL. and I love the changes to match her theme
Watch Polka outdo the original in almost every aspect. Her performance can easily give Kotoko a run for her money (As much as I love Kotoko, I have to admit this) and the lackluster original video gets wildly improved by all of her and her team's additions which go perfectly well with Polka's hyperactive personality. Heck, even the simplistic dance performed in the video looks better thanks to how Polka does it. Truly an amazing job.
0:28 - 1:20 part of the song from Polka really added so much more flavour compared to the original seriously.
I think the original is supposed to reflect how Chouten-chan isn't really there to help anyone, that's why her voice comes as very apathetic and she is more concerned with her own ego than she is with helping others or herself.

実はこの曲聴いたの初めてなんだけど、ネットの生配信とか現代的なテーマなのに曲調は90年代末〜2000年代初頭っぽいギャップが好き ゲームの方もグラフィックとか80年代みたいな感じやったよね
The best part about all of Polka's covers is the emotion she puts into the lyrics. Even if you don't know the meaning of the lyrics, Polka can always convey the meaning of the song through the emotions she pours out.
The emotional swings that border on psychotic add that extra flavour to the original. So much so that the original feels bland by comparison.
