the demo is done without using skills etc moving to simplify things. If you add dynamic variation by doing it on the move, the distance covered could be more drastic.
Another advantage is you can see that as 2 seconds of invulnerability, 2 remnant combo means 2 seconds of invulnerability in flight.
During flight you are invulnerable, so a 2 remnant combo buys you 2 seconds of invulnerability from damage and stun.

Do you need to have " Auto Attack: Always or Standard " for this to work?

Standard works most of the time because you “auto attack after casting a spell;” however, if you issue a move command while you are in phasing through remnants, there’s a chance you won’t get the attack off. Setting it to always (or toggling auto attack while phasing) is 100%. The interaction is similar to the instant attack right after Spirit Breaker’s charge.
