2 yrs on I'm seeing this and I felt your pain at the start :( got there in the end though.. only top tip I'd give is don't use PVA as a size, just thin down the paste you'll be using to hang the WallRock or any paper. Have you used Zinsser GARDZ before.. that's also ideal to use .. :) good effort :)
Hello there buddy. Thanks very much for your kind words and for taking the time to watch and comment. I would normally use the watered down paste. Can't remember why I didn't on this occasions but you're absolutely right. Have a great day where you are. Best wishes, Des
Hi Des, not commented before but have watched many of your videos. Thanks for sharing your lining paper methods I am finding them very useful. Great job.
Hi Des, Don't freehand cut... press smoothing blade into corner and press snap off knife to it and keeping angle of cut as low as possible use your smoothing blade as the guide. The low angle of cutting and smoother against wall stops tears (especially in pasted paper ). Regards. Bob (Somerset)
Hi there and thanks for watching. I'm not advising anybody to work on a ladder in this way at all. I'm merely demonstrating what I had to do in order to complete this job satisfactorily. There will, of course, be a few options available which the individual will need to explore to find out what they feel happy with. This is merely one of them. Best wishes, Des
@@21stcenturycaveman33 exactly, you clearly stated this already in the video, that there are various methods using ladders etc and that just the one you chose to use

Happy new year 🥳
Same to you my friend. Best wishes, Des
Far too precarious. Shouldn't be advising people to work on a ladder in this way.
