Nah.....if shanks feared him that much he would try his best to not confront him. But instead, he is tapping on Blackboard's moves all the time. Which we have seen in Marinford war when shanks came to stop him from rampaging. Also shanks came to wano to confront BB if he came to take the (luffy vs kaido) circumstancous advantage.
