    YAAAAS!! This entire album is what I put on when I need to get.shit.done. It's amazing from start to finish! Next song I would try Timewave Zero, it's got a little bit of a different feel

    Scar Symmetry with this singer (Christian Älvestam) is one of my all time favorites. That said, this isn't one of my all time favorite songs though. THE song for me from these guys is "Veil of Illusions", that's the one that got me hooked so maybe I'm a bit biased. Oh, also maybe react to "Gravitational Lensing" by Solution .45, that's one of the many bands with Christian as a singer.
    Well now that I'm here, let me leave a couple more suggestions for you. These are in no specific order and there are multiple styles of metal included. Some are new and some are old. They have one thing in common though, I really like all of them:
    * In Mourning - Colossus
    * Dark Tranquillity - Identical to None
    * Be'lakor - From Scythe to Sceptre
    * Sybreed - The Line of Least Resistance
    * Orbit Culture - Sun of All
    * Solution .45 - Gravitational Lensing
    * The Unguided - King's Fall
    * Lorna Shore - ...And I Return to Nothingness (Or "To the Hellfire" if you want to hear some over the top vocals and breakdowns, but I feel like nothingess is a better song as a whole)
    * Shadow of Intent - The Mausoleum of Liars (Or one of the most suggested ones: The Heretic Prevails, Melancholy, Malediction. These are also great, but there's already too many reactions to them I feel like)
    Greetings from Finland! (Just realized none of my suggestions are from Finland, oh well.. :D )

    Scar Symmetry is a gem. Sadly, they kicked the singer after this album, and the band just lost it's mojo. The albums after this one just don't do it for me. So all recommendations I have is from this album or prior.
    "Slaves to The Subliminal" might be my favorite track right now. "Ghost Prototype I" hands down my favorite solo, and lovely track overall. "The Kaleidoscopic God" is another long one. An ever evolving ride. No part is like the previous.

      I agree with this 100% with one single exception: I feel they finally found their feet again big-time with The Singularity. It's a sound and writing style they never would've gotten to with Christian and it just works, but I enjoy PBP and Holographic Universe just as much. Even their 'weaker albums' in the middle are still good, just not quite on the same level.

      I really like the last two albums they made. They're different for sure but they still retain a bit of that scar symmetry sound. I think it works well.
