She is not that great of a performer or singer live. She has trying to build career for over 10 years and she just isn't pulling the crowds. Even though she pulled good results in many talent shows. She was almost every time second. And at least here in Finland we have had multiple great artists that have finished second in those talent shows and they have hit it much bigger than the winners but not Saara. Mayber her team is not the greatest or something

Yeah, I don't know what happened, maybe the label messed up or Finnish people don't know how to sell music outside Finland, but she was never a big success, even though she has such a talent. Se hasn't published any music in years, last record was some neverheard christmas record in 2019.
I feel like she shouldn't have come back home from UK after this competition (she was 2nd), and maybe she would have had more successful career.

I mean, this clip is from 2016. She has been well known in Finland for over 15 years so wouldn’t say ”star is born”. She did Finnish voice for Anna from Frozen, she has been a tv host, she performed in Eurovision back in 2018, she has released 7 albums and performed in shanghai international film festival which was seen by over 800mil people.

She is fabulous, a god given voice hopefully she will be sharing that golden voice with the world soon.
She went to the finals that year and she has made career by singing. She tried to do her own music, but it didnt really take off. Saara is at her best when singing others songs and musicals.
At the moment she is doing life coaching courses and singing coaching

Actually in Finland has been powerful viking warriors but it’s not told in mainstream history. A lots of stuff found from soil to proove that.
There probably were not so many Finnish vikings. And so what: while the other north was sailing along and fighting with each other, we, mad forest trolls, were keeping the wild tribes of Russia away. You know what they said, we were the most scary warriors here in the North. When the other warriors were for example yelling their fighting shouts, Finns were just watching you, coming at you, and killing you effectively.
