It's weird how Dave's face/appearance had changed so much in one year, between 1985 where he still looked like a teenager and 1986 where he looked more like a man, almost the same way as he looked during the Violator area.
Not to diss Vince Clarke, Peter Gordeno, or Christian Eigner, but the “Fantastic Four” of Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andrew Fletcher, and Alan Wilder was (and still remains) the best of Depeche Mode’s career lineups. Need I say anything more?

Their importance within the realm of electronic/wave-everything cannot be overstated. Seminal not unlike Kraftwerk among others 🖤🖤 -Kind regards
This concert may seem ‘basic’ compared to the quality of technology we have in 2023, but you can feel the energy and sense the passion for their craft is indomitable 🔥🔥🔥🔥They were HOT! Still are!
