Eating at a HUNGARIAN Restaurant for the FIRST time in BLACKPOOL | Our Experience

We've never tried Hungarian food before, so we decided to check out Hungarian's Restaurant in Blackpool. Colin is not the most adventurous eater, but he was willing to give it a try.
We ordered a variety of dishes, including meat pancakes and stuffed cabbage. We were pleasantly surprised by the flavours and the authenticity of the food. The restaurant is also very charming and the service was excellent.
If you're looking for a new and exciting culinary experience, we highly recommend checking out Hungarian's Restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

Mmmmmm juicy ghoulash x My dish is Irish stew because Mam was from Limerick and met Dad in Manchester in 1966. She died 5 years ago and I still can’t get it right. Like Betty’s hotpot there’s something extra I can’t replicate. 🥺 I will, determined to! She’d make dumplings too and properly buttered thick cut tiger bread too! As a child she was hungry and orphaned at 6, her father came to Manchester for work, so she spent the rest of her life not a soul left our house hungry and a bag full of food for the week ahead. I am the same….. nobody leaves my home hungry. I enjoy making people contented and fed! Costs them absolutely nowt! Yours, Julie xxx❤
You're making us hungry, Julie! Sadly The Hungarian in Blackpool is now closed. We hear that the owners had to close for health reasons ❤️🩷🫖

We go regularly, the food is worth the wait and the owners are lovely. I can personally recommend the Goulash starter and the Gypsy Steak for main.

We went there one time the owner was at the door a table for two please sorry we’re full never even looked at her bookings or asked us we what time we wanted to dine we where not impressed we have never returned I’m glad you two enjoyed your experience greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Yikes! That sounds terrible. We wouldn't have gone back either if that happened to us 🤔 Maybe they were booked solid for the night. The lady who looked after us was delightful. She couldn't do enough for us. Thanks for sharing your experience, Ian. It just goes to show you, doesn't it? 🩷💙🩶

Is it me guys but I thought that was quite expensive compared to other eateries in Blackpool. If the food is quality you don’t mind paying.
Hi Michael! Blackpool has all tyoes of restaurants. We usually go for mid-range because we prefer casual dining. We didn't think the bill was expensive, though. We've booked the swankiest restaurant in Blackpool for our next visit ... Colin might even have to wear his pearls!! 📿😎💚

The loud background music would have annoyed me.

Hi Tina. Lovely to hear from you 🩶. We thought the stairs might put some people off. We didn't see a lift but there was a café on the ground floor which looked like it might belong to the same owners 🌞🍗❤️

Expensive food for Blackpool standards. How many people can afford that in Blackpool.
Hi Martin. Thanks for your comment. We have reviewed several restaurants in Blackpool that charge within that price range. There must be a market for them 🤩⭐🎄
