VLOG | Come to Katanning with me to celebrate their cultural diversity

I’m off on a road trip to visit Katanning again, a year after I left. My last day there was during the 2023 Katanning Harmony Festival, a two-day celebration of one of the most multicultural towns in Western Australia. It was weird to be back as a volunteer instead of one of the organisers but still just as fun. I got to catch up with so many friendly faces and feel like I was back home for a moment.
This town means a lot to me, it took me in when I was a broken shell of a person and taught me how a small community can become like family - if you let them. It gave me incredible career opportunities, brought amazing people into my life and supported me for five years until I embarked on my next journey of moving back to Perth city.
