Thank you for everything. I'm going thru a breakup and everything's falling down on me, but seeing you guys is making me feel accompanied. Greetings from Spain, I really appreciate you all.
Hey stranger. You have the spirit of the internet soldierz backing you. Breakups are always the worst when they happen, but I hope you can view it as a new opportunity. To meet new people. To take some time for yourself. To just switch things up a little bit. Be kind to yourself. If youre coming here for comfort, I almost feel a sort of kinship. Ive been there, too. Enjoy the boiz yappin, brother/sister.
1:55:04 I used to work for Best Buy and they do the St. Jude donation thing. As far as I know, that's basically a big tax write-off for Best Buy. If thats true, then I would recommend donating directly to charities and not dealing with some huge corporation as a middle-man.
heya im a starbucks barista and i will add that since credit card tipping was introduced it actually really helped me pay bills and shit to the point that idk if i would have been able to move out of my hometown without them. So it definitely really helps! But i also understand its kinda silly to expect a tip for like a $5 coffee and croissant so when i hand out the tip thing im just like "seriously no pressure hun". But that being said Starbucks is a fucking billion dollar corporation who have been cutting hours and staffing at a lot of stores for the past few months and i would 1000% rather the company just increase our wages and give us consistent hours rather then put the expectation on their customer base to actually help us get a living wage. Anyways ive been a fan of yall since middle school you guys kick ass and have not stopped releasing banging ass videos and merch for like 20 solid years thanks for that good shit!!
I’m so excited for the 4/20 stream, it’s the first time I won’t be working or have anything going on that day so I’ll finally be able to experience an all day stream.
I always always always tip 20% or more, no matter what kind of setup it is. Service workers make shit money, I know because I'm a line cook. If someone on the street asks me for money I clear my wallet of my weekly cash tips, no questions asked. Always give strangers cigarettes. Offer to buy people food. It's community building and solidarity. Should service workers just be paid adequately instead? Absolutely.
I will almost always hit “no tip” on the iPad at a counter service/takeout place. And honestly, if it’s a local place where the owner is giving me my order, he controls the price of the food, it’s not like I’m tipping some underpaid hired employee at that point.
When Gorillaz played Coachella last year Damon no exaggeration looked at the backstage camera feed and gave a disappointed shrug so I wouldnt be shocked if he didn't go there as either act anymore. Voting yes to more Applevision.
Have you guys ever thought of coming to AZ for game-on expo or phx fan fusion(AZ comic con). These expos have gotten much bigger over the years and you would make a killing selling your merch there.
I dont know maybe it's because Game-on changed the dates suddenly and sooner, but it felt different this year. A bit boring. The wrestling was pretty cool addition. One of the wrestlers was in their new video "If pizza was Video Games...Again". Can't speak for Fan fusion. Would be cool, but...
@@ascg9102 having it in march was better than august but I agree it definitely felt different this year…felt like there were more non video game vendors than last year but they the guests and panels this year were great. Fan fusion feels more crowded and I only attend if friends want to go or if mega64 were there!!
I’m hard 0 on tipping outside of restaurant 🗿 Used to work at Starbucks, personally thought the tipping thing was crazy. Makes no sense since you’re already getting paid minimum wage, same for most if not all other non-server jobs.
Curious as to what wrestling show with the naked guy shawn was talking about. Was just at one wrestlemania weekend where something similar happened so was wondering if it was that
Ive trained myself to throwup as soon as i have that nausea and its changed my life. You always feel intensely worse before throwing up and completely relieved when you do
Knotts added tipping options at alcohol carts during Scary Farm and kept it. I always made anyone not buying alcohol just skip the prompt but the wages are still the same unlike waiters.
I sometimes get bad migraines like Shawn though not nearly as often as he used to. They suck ass and completely prevent me from being able to do anything. Sometimes it lasts for hours too. Luckily I rarely get them anymore
"what are ya tipping?" RE4 T -Shirt My base tip logic, start at $5, the service will determine if it goes up or down. I'm talking a place like Denny's/Perkins/Applebee's where I can get by with an $18-25 plate. Usually I max out at $10, but have gone up to $20. Did $1 one time, and to that I say; they certainly earned that dollar.
But who would these tips really go to at Mega 64, main guy just gonna pocket it all for himself? Shawn's kids? And why does such a large corporation even need tips.
Starbucks workers won the ability to solicit tips as part of their hard-fought union bargaining. I agree that it's bullshit that individual consumers have been tasked with making up for unfair, unlivable wages provided by Starbucks for the people who *generate all of their value as a business* but it's where we're at right now. If you can afford to contribute, I think you should. But if you can't afford it, don't - and not being able to afford a tip doesn't mean you don't deserve to use those services. It's a raw deal for everyone who isn't the capitalists in this scenario, and that's the point.
In my opinion, you should tip something decent even if you just do carryout. You have to think from the restaurant/kitchen's point of view. They're taking time to prepare food for people in the restaurant as well as prepare AND box/bag food for to go orders. Especially when a restaurant is really busy this can suck. From working in restaurants, most of the time when it would get really busy they would stop doing to go orders because people wouldn't tip well enough to make the whole thing worth it. So yeah, don't tip on to go food for the "service", tip for everything else that goes into it.
rocco don't drink but he uses nyquil? it literally contains alcohol (10%), as well as dextromethorphan, which has similar effects to ketamine & nitrous oxide (laughing gas) due to the pharmacological interactions in the brain. kinda ironic innit.
Just gonna ask you a couple questions real quick :)
like what
Hear me out... A 'Making the Video' spoof about the DBZ short, complete with backstage conflicts, "artistic" decisions made, etc.
I'll buy that shirt for %20
tipping over 10 percent is ridiculous

I'm so happy Shawn brought up that part of the Hot Ones interview with Conan because the very first thing I thought of when I watched it was Mega64

I am so glad I don't have to worry about tips here in Australia. Sounds like a pain
Never pay for water.
Never tip for pickup.

Oh my god lol, why do the podcasts always have the worst comment sections.
Appearantly some of the youtube podcast viewers are the most entitled people on earth I stg

The licorise commercial starring Dallas popped up after I watched this! What are the chances?!
