I just looked up Rocco's tweet of him at Mario Land with the XBox gear and the reactions is cracking me up. Another classic example of Rocco throwing himself into the fire just so the rest of us get a quick laugh.
So incredibly blessed to have Johnny bring the NJ connection to Mega64. Although I’ve been a long time fan, it feels that much closer to home. Shoutout to Porta pizza in Asbury and JC
Cool hearing the boys talk about niche handhelds. It's a rabbit hole I've gone down recently. I've bought a retroid Pocket 3+ and it's like the best gaming experience I've had in years.
I like collecting physical media of things because it helps me remind myself that it exists. there's so many good weird movies and games out there and if a friend is over they can see it on the shelf and go "wow what's that about" and we can pop it in. also if I buy something digitally like during a steam sale there's a 20% chance i'll forget I bought it where if its physical the case reminds me because I have to look at it every day
My ex-Navy pilot grandpa once gave me Pixar's Planes for Wii U when I just had a ps3 like Dominic. I guess it was a little different because I was like a sophomore in highschool & wasn't like dying to play it or anything
Kevin dropping his handheld style light it's nothin' with the Nomad and now a NeoGeo Pocket Color! NGPC is an expensive collection to get into, but so strong! Nice job with that gift, Rachel!
As an anime fan I love owning all these weird shows and movies that look great in HD and don't have shitty fansubs. There's something about old DVD releases too where they have like 3 episodes per disc but now we have blu-rays with 13 episodes each which is fucking nuts to me, or up to 50 episodes per disc if they're in SD.
Kevin, I 100% agree with you. I will swear by handheld gaming til the day I die yet will refuse to play a portable console in a car, plane or any mode of transport. I even bring my devices with me on holiday but usually end up not using them lol
Super based that Kevin is into the NGPC too, Metal Slug 1st and 2nd Mission are so cool. For many years I saw a super cheap copy of 2nd Mission and never picked it up, but kinda regret that now since it got ridiculously expensive during and post-COVID.
The menu was my favourite movie of last year, when I first started thinking that I made a point to watch the rest of the notable movies then rewatch the menu
Much love for highlighting Angelo and Vinci’s! The community college I went to is right next to it and they always have the best thick pizza slices. Molto Bene!
The yak segment of Ragnarok really is the low point, despite how much I liked the dynamic between Atreus and Angrboda. Just absolutely murders the pacing in the middle of an absurdly good game. I don't blame people for putting it down there, especially if you play in short sessions. I was fortunate enough to plow through it in one sitting, but I kept telling my family "Just let me finish this part, surely it will end soon" for like 2 hours
Oh shit that Angelo Di Vinci restaurant is right next to my highschool. My calculus teacher would always get his lunch from there lol. Got Pizza with my comp sci club in my last year in college too and it was pretty good
I used to be all about that collector’s life, had all my blu rays, games, books etc. Then when everything burned in a fire i was like “Not Doing THAT again!” Minimalist lifestyle now, digital everything
Moment you said Planet Hollywood owned Buca di Bepo it all made sense. Went to Planet Hollywood once in Time Square and it was just overpriced microwave food. It's also when I found out my New York friend just had really shit taste.
Almost everything they said about Buca is true. Food is pricy and the decorations are a lot. But I think they just happened to go to a really bad Buca. I don't know how they could rate the food worse than Olive Garden. The food is usually pretty good at Buca. Maybe their quality has been going down or is inconsistent at different locations. I've definitely had a better experince than them. That being said, it's still expensive and a tad tacky.
Honestly this Bucca di Beppo talk is making me want to vomit. I went there once decades ago and it was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had in my life.
You can tell this will be a good episode because rocco already has his feet out within the first 2 mins
Man I love when Kevin's on the pod. He just channels great energy and his laugh makes me happy
I just looked up Rocco's tweet of him at Mario Land with the XBox gear and the reactions is cracking me up. Another classic example of Rocco throwing himself into the fire just so the rest of us get a quick laugh.
Last year was the best ChristmasCast has been since they moved to the competition format. Taking those steps to amp things up really paid off
Pro tip: eat at a good restaurant next time
Seems like a skill issue
I appreciate the Cincinnati representation with your hat Rocco.
The food influencer has been disgraced, none shall survive

1:21:24 Buca di Beppo talk
Can't wait for the Buca di Beppo christmas special. It's just such a fun name to say too. Buca di Beppo.
Puka di peppe

buca vs botte

Funny that rocco played the first few hours of INSIDE. the last bit is pretty nuts, wanted to hear his thoughts on it
Kevin dropping his handheld style light it's nothin' with the Nomad and now a NeoGeo Pocket Color! NGPC is an expensive collection to get into, but so strong! Nice job with that gift, Rachel!
If I ever end up near a buca di beppo, I kinda need to try it. You guys have sold it so well for the last decade.
The boys just got nuked by Buca di Beppo at the end. RIP
1:12:19 Little did they know that the pilot of the Fils-a-Mech was right in front of them.
idk at what point in 'Inside' Rocco stopped playing, but if it was before the big moment towards the end then that hurts my soul
It definitely was HAHAHAHAHHA
@@roccobotte omg.... ugghhh that's like the whole reason i'd recommend the game to someone!!!
real
Great show, sad Bowser kidnapped Derrick.
Rocco will get him back though. Let's ah go, as he'd say.
Let's ah Bo(tte).
Rocco will corner Bowser while wearing his XBox suit and whisper to him "gained the lead, lost the lead."

The best thing about the Buca Di Beppo near me is they run a Guy Fieri ghost kitchen out of it. At least they know how to cook good burgers.
It’d be cool if you guys did a highlight montage of all the truth or dare cons. Classic moments
Rocco finding the menu cringey is such a Rocco moment.
It is cringey. Aimless and stupid.
I hear he’s a bigger fan of Still Waiting as far as restaurant films go
The buca slander 😩😂
Rocco's Skyline Chili hat😂 - Cincinnati represeeeeeeent!

All the bathrooms at Buca have old timey pics of folks urinating. I hate that place

Long podcast alert 🗣️🚨
The podcast is way more chill without Derrick rushing everyone the entire episode
Kevin has the right idea. You don’t visit a FOREIGN COUNTRY just to play video games. Live your best life, boy-o.
The menu was my favourite movie of last year, when I first started thinking that I made a point to watch the rest of the notable movies then rewatch the menu
An exceptional cast
Rocco on the highest level of trolling with that Xbox picture. I’m crying laughing.
51:00 he's talking about Unregular Pizza. That ball is Burrata. Good as fuck but it's hella expensive like he said
Why is it called nintendo land if it's literally only mario themed. Not a single other IP.
I used to like going to Buca De Beppo about 10 years ago. Is it really that bad in San Diego?
Looking like a nice posi podcast with minimal crying this week
16:16 dude my grandma has had 4k since like 2020 you guys are so weird

Since when does Derrick wear glasses?
When he took off the lip ring
Since the 2014 chemical spill
Roccos version of the birthday song was low-key better lmao
oh shit the fade up ending
Buca stocks are D O W N!!
Oh shit that Angelo Di Vinci restaurant is right next to my highschool. My calculus teacher would always get his lunch from there lol. Got Pizza with my comp sci club in my last year in college too and it was pretty good

The California air has changed Harry.
i've only ever seen one other person drink zevia and now i feel vindicated
i used to drink it a lot cuz of rocco lol
anybody know the name of the pizza place johnny is talking about?
I think it's Unregular Pizza
pizza Italiano
That reese's puff's ballpit was so stupid and that panel was one of my favorite memories from the 16 PAX's I've been to
that costco sweater would be awesome if it only had one "bigger" costco logo centered on the front or back, just my opinion.
I remember getting Buca di Bepo when I was in highschool. It wasn't good, but it was at least edible. I wonder how it got so bad.
Moment you said Planet Hollywood owned Buca di Bepo it all made sense. Went to Planet Hollywood once in Time Square and it was just overpriced microwave food. It's also when I found out my New York friend just had really shit taste.

It probably doesn't help that Buca de Beppo literally translates to "Joe's Hole."
Real LOST type ending
Hey they remember the Reese’s Puffs ballpit thing. I was that person, I think I still have the ball somewhere lol
I'd only go to Buca if they added Rocco's Italian Stallion (aka Herp Dog)
use the old DVD's as order suprises
Skyline Drip Drip is fuckin fire
Only amazing.
physical media is just a bunch of trash I gotta have around me. i’m good.
Is buca de pepo kitchen nightmares level bad?
Bucco does suck. Bunch of friends took us in Austin, raving about it. It was dry.. tasteless..
The menu was legitimately one of the worst movies I've seen in the past decade and I wish I was kidding.
@breadandcircuses8127 It was just really really dumb and corny. Everything about it made me roll my eyes
Streaming doesn't come close to satisfying me. Physical forever
Dang, I really thought Shawn would like God of War Ragnarok a lot cause I thought the story had a lot of themes he would vibe with, but I guess not :\
Buca de birthday
why is rocco always dressing like the people from idiocracy?
The yak segment of god of war was at most an hour. And your doing other things besides riding the yak
So glad we don't order food from the UK ...
Im so jealous rocco rules
i honestly don’t get the silent eating bit
Yeah it's pretty wack
Nah
I want chicken.
Did you smell it?
Honestly this Bucca di Beppo talk is making me want to vomit. I went there once decades ago and it was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had in my life.
Buca di Pepto ABYSMAL, am I right?
