Oh, good, I'm not the only one. I've had this track with this credit kicking around my music collection for a long time, and I doubt that the group most well-known as Blue Man Group did it.
(A friends temp account. Real name is David Maclaury) I first heard this back in 2012…. It’s not 2021…. The nostalgia I feel is literally making me cry. I had a super tough time in school and this (amongst other videos/songs like it at the time) used to give me such a feeling of happiness and peace with how upbeat and relaxing it is. I’m so so happy it’s still here…. This just makes me so happy.
You mean this one?: th-cam.com/video/ilI9OWBMGnA/w-d-xo.html If this is the one, then yeah I remember watching this at 10 or 12 years old and wanting to buy Gta sa so I can see if the myths are real. (SPOILER ALERT: THEY'RE NOT!)
Same. Memories of Pure Moods commercials from when I was about 10 to rediscovering it maybe 6-8 years later to get high to and then redisovering it now over 15 years later. Its so unreal, as if in a dream, unreal...
This music 1996 year. Appeared on the compilations in the style of a Dream House. DJ Dado - X-Files (1996), Dream Music Factory - X-Files (1996), Blue Man Group - X-files Theme (1996), X-Planation - X-Files (1996), The Un-Xplained - Theme From The X-Files (1996), Steve Mc Laren - X-Files (1996). All this music, in the style of Dream House.
Wow amazing what strong deep wordds you created here... a vision how it could be honestly I understand you because this song has been accompanying me for the last few years and I also had... let's say some extraordinary emotions/ encounters, / memories .. that one one can explain with the mind:)
@NamieX As true as this may seem. Robert Miles was around prior to the Mark Snow X-files Theme. The background chorus behind the X-files theme is in fact Robert Miles and this song was out during this time period.
I remember when this video was first posted in 2008 😂 coming back to it i realized this is not in fact a Blue Man Group song… this is just a knock of Robert Miles - Children
it is made by one man, Mark Snow is the name of the composer of this tune. made for the intro for the tv show x files, Released in most of the world in 1996.. (due some time before the blue man group came together ;)
Embrace the dream. This is awesome music. If you ignore the truth and what is difference, you are not believing. Don't be critical of this, that only leads to lack of appreciation for one of the top 5 best television shows of all time. The truth is out there, folks!
The artist name is The Blue Men, not the Blue Man Group. They were unnamed producers who released this dance track version on the Japanese Avex Trax label. It was released as a CD single AVTCDS-023 and on numerous compilations in 1996.
@13Elphaba13 have you been here in Belgium before? if you ever got here go to Brugge if you want to learn culture ;) even i like traveling to, but can't go that for the moment :D greetz from Belgium ;)
sounds like sandlot at 30 to 43 when he tried the get the ball from the beast lmao n kinda sound like old westerns when there bout to draw their gun or the rest sound like something off of megaman but all in all this remix goes in....
This is not the Blue Man Group. Also, the female voice that speaks throughout the song are stolen words/lyrics (0:58) from Marcel Wood's Advanced (Trance Energy Theme 2006)
Hate to break it to ya, but this is NOT the Blue Man Group playing this song. This is just a techno remix, albeit a good one, but it's not the Blue Man Group. NOWHERE in this song you hear their signature PVC instruments, and if you've listened to the Blue Man Group or have seen their videos or even seen them live, you would know what their PVC instruments sound like. The sound is VERY unique.
Was thinking that myself. Sounds like a cross between "X-Files" and "Children". Also, if this is supposedly BMG (Something I'm doubting), wtf happened to the Tubulums?!?
God i love the x-file theme but when i was a kid it scraed me..soo alien like lol kinda spooky lol ^-^ there always out there... some where waching us lol
yeah right if this was a link to another side i probably would have click on it in just curiosity because i like this group, and got viruses and spies.....Where is their special sounds in this song?
@eviljbrian totaly agree with you there but its those ppls fault that do false advertising because they dnt knw them selfs.blue man group create the most uniqe sounds out of stuff that could have enden up goin to da back of ur toilet.lols
Sounds like Robert Miles.
that's what i thought! an amalgamation of children and the x files theme
Yes it does, that's what I thought
Sadly, Sam Riegel got kicked out of the group when they were making this song.
Oh, good, I'm not the only one.

So many memories flooding back with this song, what have I done with my life
Same. Memories of Pure Moods commercials from when I was about 10 to rediscovering it maybe 6-8 years later to get high to and then redisovering it now over 15 years later. Its so unreal, as if in a dream, unreal...
This song is actually a cover of the original X Files theme from the Sci-Fi show.
This music 1996 year. Appeared on the compilations in the style of a Dream House. These guys were so AMAZING in Las Vegas!!!! Can't wait to go back! XD

Wait, tell me if I'm missing something, but blue man group made the xfiles theme?!
My respect for them has grown exponentially.
Domo Kun no they didn't
WHY IS THIS SO BEAUTIFUL?! 😭
On a lighter note, I can remember listening to this version of the X-Files theme in the car when I was very young. It was on a Pure Moods collection.
I remember when this video was first posted in 2008 😂 coming back to it i realized this is not in fact a Blue Man Group song… this is just a knock of Robert Miles - Children
This sounds similar to Robert Miles' "Children" so I'll take a wild guess and say its his remix.
it is made by one man, Mark Snow is the name of the composer of this tune. made for the intro for the tv show x files, Released in most of the world in 1996.. (due some time before the blue man group came together ;)
Went two years ago. I saw them at Universal Studios Orlando. They were worth your cash. The stage was good, they took people from the audience.
Embrace the dream. This is awesome music. If you ignore the truth and what is difference, you are not believing. Don't be critical of this, that only leads to lack of appreciation for one of the top 5 best television shows of all time. The truth is out there, folks!
Blue man group is so weird and cool I love them their music is nice this version of the theme is so cool.
illuminate confirmed
yeah true
It's like a techno mix between terminator and X-Files
If you don't like this type of music, then why are you watching this video?...Because, by all means, they did a good job with this song.
The artist name is The Blue Men, not the Blue Man Group.
They were unnamed producers who released this dance track version on the Japanese Avex Trax label. It was released as a CD single AVTCDS-023 and on numerous compilations in 1996.
They are incredible!!! Blue Man Group Rules!!!!!!

I do think I can hear the PVC instruments, it's not verry clear but i follows the base sometimes...
the blue man group actually did create this, i think they created this before the got into the really cool drums and stuff
sounds like a cross between the x-files theme song, children by robet miles, and the terminator theme. cool.
Chances are it's DJ Dado, who did I don't know how many versions of the theme song.
XD You just made my day!
sounds like sandlot at 30 to 43 when he tried the get the ball from the beast lmao n kinda sound like old westerns when there bout to draw their gun or the rest sound like something off of megaman but all in all this remix goes in....

Hate to break it to ya, but this is NOT the Blue Man Group playing this song. This is just a techno remix, albeit a good one, but it's not the Blue Man Group. I like the blue man group I like how they paint themselves all bue.

+Finozzi96 1 year later: ok apparently is not scully, just a girl from an old movie it seems? related to alice in wonderland or something

A little Terminator theme thrown in for good measure...
This is not Blue Man Group, it's The Blue Men: www.discogs.com/The-Blue-Men-X-Files/release/12728203
