Hey man so the 2.5 and 3.3 carb is the same part. The OS 11K carb is a little cash but buy once kinda deal that makes the 3.3 come alive! Os Lc4 plug and 30% also Rick Ritter has some of his carbon tmaxx pipes left witch run really good! Much better than the factory ones. KBN!! WOOOO!!!
I thought it would fit but it's been too long since I messed with them. Alot of carbs are interchangeable but you got to know which ones are a match.
@@kevincain6843 STS had a carb that worked but it's never in stock so the 11k is the best bet for the upgrade carb i have one on my 3.3 and it's awesome!
@@thebug4046 Yes. OS is good stuff. Getting very pricey these days but love their quality. I see some people say the 3.3 has failures but no one I know ever stated they had to replace them. I think he is right that it's a failure to break in properly and possibly over heating? I always pack my infrared meter when running nitro. I lost an expensive motor in middle of running. Several cars running with me along with other noise so I could not hear my motor starting to chatter from too lean.
@@thebug4046 I have an STS .30 in a savage from around 2007 and barely broke in. It is a nice running motor. Powerful.
@@kevincain6843 Breaking them in properly really helps the methamphetamine suggest from factory is very hard on them and in short it's a life. I usually upgrade the bearings and replace the pin and rod after the first gallon and they last a really long time without issue

Remember, the good news is that the traxxas parts are sold everywhere like the other braap brothers say 2.5 carb and 3.3 are the same or the os carb it's expensive but I hear its the best upgrade for 3.3 my prayers are with you in you're personal situation 🙏🙏 I know you can keep this Tmaxx braapalicious

The number for the OS carb that’ll fit on the 33 is 21982000 is the number 11 K 18 TM, but they’re expensive about 100 bucks just for the carburetor

i have that model , ive never seen a plastic intake or exhaust , the temps get very high , and plastic wont cut it , the og model version was better , did you exchange it at some time> and its too clean :) get that thing dirty !!!!
