I don't recommend masking individual windows, I don't know about this specific model but most airliners have the main landing gear bays and wings as a separate assembly that you can paint separately leaving a large hole on the bottom so just leave the clear parts aside and glue them in from the inside after painting the fuselage
Looks good. But I think it was an easy build. Its just White paint for the entire plane, blue for the tail blue and metalic paint for some parts of the engine.
Again....Another COOL Build.... Very Inspirational for my small collection of 1/144 ComAir ( I have three [3] planes only ). And, Again.... I like the colors of the interior of the engines, I need to open my boxes to see if 'fans' rotate !!?? But, if you can .... can you tell me what colors you used on the interiors of engines?? Thanks for the post!! Subscribed!!
Good job!!. I saw a lot of really good things you did. I would recommend Tamiya masking tape, the stuff really does a good job of leaving a clean even line. Other wise nice work!
I just got my first airliner model, a Hasegawa 1:200 scale 747. I'm looking at all the window holes and there's no "glass" to fill them. The decal sheet has rows and rows of black windows. Am I supposed to place the decals precisely over the window holes and let the decal film be the window? I have over 50 years of modeling experience but most of it is with 1:87 model railroads, military vehicles, Star Wars models, etc. I did a Lockeed TriStar when I was 8 yrs old and that's the last airliner I did. Some advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Douglas. Yes mate with the Hasegawa kit, that is exactly what you are supposed to do. If you want them to be clear, you could not use the window decals and use something like Micro Krysal Klear on the windows after painting the fuselage. Dan
hi, great model and great video. I'm about to start my first model (boeing 777 HASEGAWA 1/200) but i was wondering how to handle with the side windws: i was expecting it to be just a decal but they are actually holes in the fuselage. What can i do to make them look realistic? thank you in advance :)
I don't know if there are some decals to put them over the holes but when there are only holes, they look after painting also realistic after you have all the decals on the plane :)
What do you use to apply the decals? A lot of youtubers tell me to use special products, does water work? Last time i used a decal, it didnt comform to the model,
how did you get the engine cone spiral decal on? I have the lufthansa A350 model I'm working on and I am having trouble getting the spiral decal on the engine cone, can anyone help me with some tips?
Good/simple kit for for beginners? I mean I've only built 3 airfix kits but I have lots of modelling tools. I quite like this kit. So I just want to make sure it's ok for my skill, lol.
at 3:48,the 787 has a smile :)
Mr.Captain _L thank you for pointing it out
Oh my god my long lost yt account
Just bought this exact model today in Minneapolis. Thanks for having this video up. It's going to help me a lot.
Do you have to do it 1 to 1 like you did because I don't have all of these parts and I would like to do that too?
Stunning.! I'm a good model builder BUT I'm lightyears away from this standard... Thank you for posting
Same...

ahahah, I remember when I was 10 or something which was 6 years ago, I tried to build this same model and I failed terribly XD!
Right now I am 10 and I'm building an a350.... it's not great but I like it.

@@therobloxsimulation6023 well good on you

Honestly I think he did it brilliantly, and having built that exact kit myself it's easier than some kits, but it is far from easy lol
Did you scratch build the cockpit area, seats, etc.?

This guy is so good at it! It's worth a sub.
What exactly do you use to cover windows while painting?
Wow nice job
Best guy
What did you do with the Windows, so you can peel the paint off easy?
Hey Roland!...what do you use?...
Im also trying to find out what the best product is to remove paint from passenger windows after airbrush
As you don't use masking tape or anything to mask off the windows, how do you do it please? Any trips and advice would be much appreciated
buy 'Color Stop' from Revell. Thats easy and it works :)
3:49-line on windows!)))Curved line...
One thing I wonder is why are u soo good at building this models

How is the name of the color base before all painting??)
That was nicely done! I am so interested in buying one of these kits. But will I need that spray machine as well?
How long it takes (days) to finish completely assembly? Great job! Congratulations!
Can any body tell me what is this song please
love your video. Can you explain why sand-paper-ing before painting? Does it create better adhesion? Thanks

Das Flugzeug sieht gut aus! ^^
Danke :)
Where do I buy one?
Great job done!
This is beautiful and satisfying at the same time :)
I have the a380 working on it. nice music!
Do the fan blades actually spin when you install them in the model? If not, how did you get them to spin?
+quagmire 445 Yes they do, they only spin when you blow air through the fan
Working on this model right now.

I’m working on it now too and I can’t do the landing gear
BobtailYT I got this one and an a350 but the 787 has not came yet and I can not start on the a350 cos I have no paint 🤬

how did you get the engine cone spiral decal on? I have the lufthansa A350 model I'm working on and I am having trouble getting the spiral decal on the engine cone, can anyone help me with some tips?
It’s really not easy. I always take the end and place the beginning of the decal on the top of the engine cone, then I adjust the decal.
Thanks
