      to paint landscaping scenery Mountains and such made from foam board and styrofoam. However my G22 is not feeding I keep having to do blow back and it sure won't take paint directly from the bottle

    I started with this airbrush 5 years ago. It's a Ok Airbrush to start with, especially if your money smart but unsure if you will want to continue with this new "Gadget".
    To be fair though, this is by far not a flagship Airbrush.
    As far as pro's are concerned it's a paperweight. This is coming from guys who use airbrushes for a living.
    But they are partially right, a top tier airbrush is closer to above $600 USD. Today, I use Badger and Iwata Airbrushes ranging from $100-300 USD but that's my hobby and my expirience improved since the Master G22 and G233. But if you plan to go full on Airbrush, skip this one and spend the money, if your anything like me you will outgrow this one in less than a month.
    If you live where there is alot of humidity a second moisture separator.
    With Master brushes they use silicone O rings to seal so dont use anything with Acetones in it. If you do cakes today and your Motorcycle gas tank tomorrow get seperate brushes to not poison someone.
    If the paint is too thick it will clog and spit. Also look for the kit with not just the compressor but the one that is a Compressor and a Tank combo, trust me the tank makes your painting more uniform since the compressor wont constantly change air volume on you.
    Hope this helps.
    Just dont think this is top of the line, this is very entry level, intact it's a clone of the Iwata neo($59) so if you must save the $27 then so be it.

    Jake… thank you for such an informative video. I’m an old man just getting into airbrushing my model aircraft. I recently took a chance on this very brand but I bought a bigger kit that included this airbrush! I’m glad I didn’t throw my money away! Now to get proficient! Thank you again your video was EXCELLENT AND EXTREMELY helpful!

    I'd take a good hard look at a Badger (USA made) airbrush before this one. You can get a Patriot 105 for $75 (or so) on sale, and it blows this cheapo import out of the water. Night and day difference.
    Sure, Harder and Steenbeck and high end Iwatas are even better, but for $75 the Patriot is the best bang for the buck out there.

    Don’t mix paint this way, take a cheap craft paintbrush and swirl the brush, spin the brush, that will mix your paint, I keep a jar of water 1/2 full, and keep my brushs in the jar, that cleans the brush every time I use it, the brush has lots of surface area to mix the paint!

    I have had my Master Series Airbrush & Compressor Kit (complete with Hose, Pressure Gaige/moisture separator) for about a year. This is the only airbrush I’ve used ever and wile it does work, it’s not great because I’m always trying to get the paints thin enough without being too watery. This airbrush has a very hard time pushing paint through the barrel if it’s any thicker than water. I have multiple products that do not require thinning but still won’t pass through the Master Series G22/223 airbrush. The brush spits paint which can “ruin” your work and cause you’re waste time fixing the brush’s malfunction, Needless to say I’m looking to buy a new one by Iwata, likely the Eclipse for $169 on Amazon.
    I still recommend this kit highly because the compressor and all accessories work very well and are easily worth the $100-$120, even if there was no airbrush included. I can’t understand why small 1/2 gallon airbrush compressor w/tank costs $200-$500, when you can buy a compressor w/a 2-5 & tank from Home Depot for $99-$120. Small airbrush compressors don’t do anything special or different than big ones are Home Depot.

    • @nathanbiffle8246
      @nathanbiffle8246 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ken Ngwenya The compressor is not the best. After using it for a while it gets hot and then creates condensation which will shoot out the airbrush at times. The airbrush itself is fine but doesn’t have a large radius in which it sprays. It’s fine if you’re just starting out and want practice and all that and to do a few shoes but it’s not the best. I’ve had it and I’d personally like a new one but it works so I use it

      @@LimboSfx You spend half of the video literally just repeating yourself saying "I love this airbrush" in as many ways as possible without giving a single reason as to WHY you love it. You spend the second half of the video telling us how to take it out of the box and hook it together. Literally none of this video is a "Review". You list no pros and cons. You don't explain how it's better or worse than any competitors. You do not discuss any specs of the airbrush. By the end you have effectively read us the buzzwords from the packaging that entice someone to purchase it and then you basically read the instruction manual to us. That's not what the objective of a review is. You've provided us with nothing that isn't common knowledge or simply gained from reading the 3 sentences of description from the product page. If you are going to review something, then review it. And try not to speak to the audience like a room full of 4 year olds that you are trying to convince brushing their teeth is good for them. People in the market for airbrushes and seeking reviews for them are not children and don't need to be talked to like babies
