    That was a really well done tutorial. I love how you used the same rider in the baby blue get up to demonstrate what not to do!

    I vow to single-handedly bring back the tindy and tailfish to their rightful place on the throne of snowboarding style. Hold my chocolate milk, u bunch of snobs.

    At 5:46 aren't the names swapped? It looks to me like the one on the left is a regular Indy, with both legs bent, whereas on the right his front leg is "boney"... Or have I misunderstood? Thanks!

    For me, stalefish is the hardest grab. I've pretty much have all the other ones. I can do roastbeefs with frontside shifty no probs but stalefish are hard for some reason. I've gotten comfortable with tail grabs and can do them with back 1's. I still have hard getting any grab in when i throw a front or back 3

    Do people actually knock on riders for grabbing in the “wrong” places outside of competition?

    Roast beef and stelmasky are 7th and 8th fundamental grabs, respectively :)

    love the videos but def disagree with not grabbing between the back binding and tail. I love tweaking out indys from behind the back binding! idk who told you that was bad style?

    Do you approach the jumps flat base or slightly on your toes? I'm having difficulty approaching the jumps with a stable posture. Any tips?

    @ 02:10 that's grabbing stinkbug. An indy grab or indy air is backhand tuck knee.

    Yo, logically for me, I started out practicing grabbing in between the bindings and the nose with the front hand, or grabbing the board in between the bindings and the tail with the back hand. I think they're called lien, slob grab etc. Yet it seems these grabs aren't legit grabs in the snowboard community?

      Nevermind, I watched the vid and saw you already commented on these grabs

    Well c,mon now, we all can't do japan airs as steezy as you.When you tweak that it it looks like its almost like you (for lack of better term) double jump =]

    Getting low for a grab when initiating a spin increases your centrifugal force. You can go down or up. Up is ugly and messes with your balance too much.

    I have a problem poking/tweaking my board. When my board and bindings are all strapped in, I can't seem to extend either of my legs. The bindings won't allow me too for some reason. Any tips?

    • @rednerrus06
      @rednerrus06 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought I had my high back's pretty straight up. But I will see If maybe there is still some forward lean on it. Thanks for the tip.

    • @wantmeX
      @wantmeX 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rednerrus06 noo forward lean is good... But you have to adjust your high back to allow them to move your feet easily!! Surprised snow addiction don't get that point...

    why do they show trampoline stuff. Not many have access to a trampoline park

    • @0ffaI
      @0ffaI 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Mark Halvorsen Pretty much everyone outside of a major city has a trampoline in their backyard, that advice sure helped me

    • @mrknarf4438
      @mrknarf4438 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      And most major cities have a trampoline park where to practice when there's no snow around, which is most of the years in many places.

      @kosycat1 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      dude you could get a setup going for next to nothing if you really tried, craigslist trampokine raging from free-about 100 bucks,and an old skateboard deck

    • @dootdoot1867
      @dootdoot1867 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Craigslist a trampoline. Grab a used skateboard deck. Good to go. Best off season training a good all around exercise. From there you can upgrade your home training at will.

  • @rycoatney
    @rycoatney 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    I disagree with the “no grab” zone. You can grab n’ tweak your board however. If they say you shouldn’t grab there, I’m just gunna have to break them rules.

    So - how come the lad in the powder blue jacket always seems to get the job of doing the duffer shots in all your videos? Has anyone else noticed this? Who would like to see Nev do all the duff shots for a change and let the lad in the powder blue gear nail a few good shots 😂🤣🤣
