They all look delicious! I haven’t had a decent watermelon all summer from the store. I’m making room in my yard as we speak to grow watermelon and cantaloupe next season. I have to remove some grass and amend the soil. I am definitely (GOD willing) going to plant and grow watermelons next summer! Thank you for all your gardening tips and advice.
Judging by the looks, I think the Sugarbaby is going to taste the best. I like the deeper colour and I have this notion that the smaller the fruit the more concentrated or less diluted the flavour.
I haven't had much luck with watermelon, I'm going to have to better, and add bone meal. Maybe I'll try growing more varieties to see what grows best. I'm really enjoying your channel as a newbie.
@@theprolificfamilystead i grew sugar baby this yr on a trellis. My problem is not staying on top of them. Last yr I started to late but also lost my crimson sweet to powdery mildew. This yr I waited to long to support them and a storm knocked 4 that were off to a great start off the trellis.
Legit harvested a lil baby melon yesterday. NJ has had a serious drought, which had to effect them despite my consistent watering, they’re smaller than I’d prefer. Im gonna have to crib a few of your methods next time around. Great xontent
I got some yellow watermelon from central market and I planted the seeds. They are the best I have and the seeds are small and not as many seeds as others. Taste like pure watermelon mixed with sugar 🙌
Omg looks so delicious! Absolutely love your videos! Follow u on fb, as well! Very informative! Where are y'all located? That red clay reminds me of our Alabama red soil! I know georgia is famous for that clay dirt, as well!

I wanted to ask you something since you brought up using bone meal. Do you think grinding up some eggshells would work as a good substitute for bone meal? I'm broke as a joke and trying not to spend anything I don't have to.
Greta video! What is your feeding schedule for watermelon? I am growing in a 7 gallon grow bag and my watermelon never gets bigger than a softball. Same with my canteloupe.
@@chashmalyahnai7362 you grow bag is fine. Just make sure you keep up with a feeding schedule. They are heavy feeders and love water but don’t like to sit in water. That causes root rot.
Sugar baby looks the sweetest to me because of the color of red.
I love your idea to track the days from germination! That is so smart. I appreciate you sharing that.

The color for me as well with sugar baby.

I love your informative videos . Also, love seeing your sweet babies .
I grew a bunch of watermelons and some turned out better than others. The chickens got the sub par ones 💯
I would recommend not growing on a trellis. Much better on the ground

I wouldn't be able to judge. Its the as long as it's sweet for me. (Watermelon fanatic).
It was definitely a hard decision Family because all of them was super sweet💚🌱

Thank you for this information, how often should I water my garden? I live in Tennessee and sometimes it is hot and dry here.
I'm trying to figure out how to grow and take care of these any direct advise? I would like to use a bag.

Yes, I think egg shells would work Family. Just make sure you use a good amount of egg shells💚🌱
How do you grow so many watermelons in the same area without them crossing? Thank you
This information is good but how do you actually plant these watermelons 🍉 in a 5 gallon container???
When did you cut the vines back?
Do you save the seeds if you are growing different varieties at the same time?
I’ve seen yellow watermelon online what types are those?

here's a tip: don't grow your watermelon next to your pineapple they cross and get weird
