- My 1999 Toyota Camry was Junked Two Weeks Ago, so I Vlogged Myself Finding It at the Junkyard, looked at the condition it was in, and then walked around, giving y’all a tour of the other cars at the local junkyard, including a Which Wich Branded Range Rover.
The Camry had subframe issues that weren't worth fixing, so yeah. I had it on Craigslist for a month, but no takers. As such, I sold it to a local junkyard for $300. This will probably be the last appearance the old 1999 Camry will ever make on this channel, so it's essentially a farewell video. RIP to a great beater. Good MPG, cold AC, and fun to drive, until it wasn't.

its actually sad seeing your old car getting parted out. i sold my 98 lexus gs300 to a dude and told him if you ever sell it , let me know ill buy it back. a year passed and was looking on fb and my car caught my eye , i knew it was mine right away. unfortunately he sold it to a guy who parted it out mainly for the engine :( a perfectly good car , 130k miles , ran great , trans great , everything worked , body work was a bit tatty , no rips. i actually cried a little bit. i loved that jalopy

I absolutely love junkyards if i had one i would be in it all day long searching for things.
My dad owns a junkyard out in the desert. It used to be an old gas station with a big backyard but it got turned into a junkyard. It always is super fun wandering around back there touching random shit and grabbing stuff. So much treasure to find in junk like literally. Ive found expensive golf clubs and knives!

This was like watching Auto auction rebuilds he does junk yard/ copart walk arounds and looks at many cars like these and even comes across some nice ones to. It was nice to see the Camry again and at least it's being put to good use and is helping keeping other cars on the road with it's parts
I had a 1971 Camaro SS that I sold. I saw the guy I sold it to and he made a dirt track race car out of it. I loved that car but I had to sell it because the city was trying to tow it while I was getting the motor rebuilt.

It's funny how some countries call these places, where cars go to die, different names. In Australia we call them "Car Wreckers". But they look exactly the same as this.

I took the Toyota badge from my dad's 2015 Toyota Camry after it was in a collision that totaled the car but he gave it to me and it's still on my wall as a souvenir and in memory of my dad's Camry I'll keep it forever.

My 99 Camry has almost 350000 miles and is still running. These are great cars.
Enjoying a camel Turkish royal classic pack in my new apartment on the nice side of town, 100 percent racism free for a few weeks now. New neighbors are fantastic and so quiet. It’s crazy. God bless Jacob.

The only better car I ever owned was a Bluebird 910 wagon 2.0 auto.
The rust got THAT big time, at 3900000.
I was sad to see it go on the back of the wrecker.
Can't believe you scrapped it with the ashtray empty! Not even any burns on the interior, that thing was too clean! My beater is in far worse condition inside, I should be more careful with cigarettes!

To answer your question, it depends on where you are in the state, of course. Asheville and Boone are beautiful, but the land around them is quite expensive, from what I've seen at least. Central and Eastern NC are cheaper for sure. Not sure what industry you're in, but Research Triangle Park (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) has many a job opportunity as a whole, and depending on where in research triangle park, as long as you're off the beaten path, and are roughly 40 minutes away from the outskirts of a city, land can be found for cheaper than not with larger plots. However, it's not all that cheap when compared to some other areas in the USA of course though. I haven't done much research on this either so do take what I say with a grain of salt! Outside other major cities in NC, such as Charlotte, Concord, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem may be good options to consider as well.
