- Let me tell you a story, a true story of my Flower Farming Journey and how I made it my full time job. Grab a cup of coffee, tea or wine and hang out well I plant a few pots up in my studio with winter color, chatting about my last 8 years farming, the love of being a mom and how it drove me to the place I'm at today!

Thank you for sharing this story with us. It is a good reminder that despite how beautiful one’s life looks on the outside, we all face hardships. Loved hearing your story and how it all began. So glad to hear that your son is stable and able to manage his Crohn's. I can only imagine how scary that time must have been for your family. How fun to get to work with your daughter everyday. You are one multi talented lady, I love hearing how you have morphed the business to make it work for different seasons in your life. Hi Beth it was great to hear your story. Its always tough to start a business but you all knocked it out of the park! Its impressive to see how you and Jason had to pivot last year due to the pandemic but it looks like it created a whole new marketing opportunity.

Thank you for sharing your story! It's always good to have a skill to fall back on because you never know when you will need it. I'm happy to hear your Son's Crohns is under control. Such a horrible disease. I was ultimately diagnosed with Celiac Disease after going through months and months of testing. It's difficult to deal with but not nearly as difficult as Crohn's. I've talked to many flower farmers that formerly had jobs in healthcare. It can be such a difficult field to work in. I'm lucky to have found a job that pays well and isn't stressful so I'm planning on staying until retirement. Flower farming will by my side job for fun and to support my bad habit of constantly buying plants and seeds. Lol. Thank you again for making videos. You seem so comfortable in front of the camera and your farm is lovely.
Any cronic illness isn't fun to deal with, I'm so sorry. I think the medical field and gardening go hand in hand. Take care my friend.
