They say the patient was fit to fly but in this case she was fit to die. She should have taken a regular coach fight with the ordinary people than this Lear jet. She would be home safe.
Beyond anything I'd ever wish to imagine. R.I.P all who have died. Condolences to all who grieve. My sympathies and condolences to the shocked citizens of the town and city, and the tragic loss of both the passenger plane - carrying 60 passengers and 4 crew, due to collision with the Blackhawk helicopter - carrying 3 personnel, in Washington, plus, the North East Philidelphia* (*sp?) crash of the air ambulance - carrying 6 persons, including a paediatric patient and her relative, likely her mother. The likelyhood is that these crashes has resulted in at least 73 deaths. R.I.P.
Doesn't really make any difference; in the US officials don't answer questions they just repeat the rehearsed reply! How does saying "we comply with blah, blah regulations" answer if you have raised concerns with the FAA? I understand your sentiments but it is possible that many seasoned reporters have realised that they are not going to get an answer anyway so don't bother asking! I would have been more impressed if the reported had continued "I am not questioning your compliance with regulations, what I am asking is if you have raised concerns; it's a simple yes or no answer, you either have or you haven't, and if you don't want to answer that question, what do you have to hide?"!
Safety is “one” of their top priorities? Good lord. Safety should ALWAYS be the number one priority!! RIP to the innocent souls who lost their lives this week💔

The helicopter was definitely not where it was supposed to be. Not may have been, maximum altitude for that route was 200 hundred feet. He was at 400 feet. Helicopters fault end of story
@ yes it would’ve been way too close, but it’s legal and they would not have collided. Had he been in the proper altitude, and he’s operating VR under visual flight rules the people inside the cockpit are supposed to be looking outside, verifying that they don’t run into anything. So somebody wasn’t looking outside or that aircraft was remotely taken over.
I’ve been watching BBC & Australian news for years. We US Americans thank you for clear, concise media messaging. I (and many of us ) do apologize for this chaotic era in our country’s history.
An airplane crash and your telling me our Country is chaotic? We unburden our last 4 years of chaos, and we will never have another Democrat President this coming from a Latino voter.
It’s not suburban Philly. It’s the northeastern section of the city. It’s close to the suburbs. A friend lives near the crash site and described how crazy it was when this happened. That is one of our busiest intersections in Philly. It’s so heartbreaking, but it could’ve been even worse on the ground.
Because it's a mess & it will take time to sort it out, it covers a huge area with a lot of fires & jet fuel burns like crazy, it would take a while to get it safe for the investigators & emergency responders to go in. The people on the plane are obviously dead. Some people on the ground were taken to hospital & there was mention of bodies on the ground in one area but these things are mass chaos for hours, no one knows what the hell is going on.
First I heard 6 people went to the hospital. But I also heard mass casualties. They have not said how many, but that area of Philly has a mall and a ton of traffic. 😢
How is it ok to fly training runs, right in the glide path of one of the busiest airports in the country? Simple calculation shows if these two aircraft had a combined head on speed of 300 mph, it would take 1/2 of a second to travel 200 feet. The 200 ft is supposed to be the safety margin....any one else see a problem with that?
You're imagining student pilots with no experience. This training is to ensure expert helicopter pilots are fully used to the specifics of flying in that busy area using IR goggles at night. You can't do it anywhere else.
@@theelmonk No, I'm not imagining anything like what you said. Military training should not be conducted to where it puts the public at risk. I was able to listen to the audio between the helicopter and the air traffic controllers, the helicopter accepted responsibility to say if it saw the airplane, he said he saw it but he acknowledged seeing the wrong one, he did not see the airplane that he crashed with, that airport is very busy, I read that many pilots say they don't like flying into it because of the danger of a military aircraft flying through those who are lined up to land, they'll have to fix it now but will be too late for those that lost their lives.
There were two planes in the air space and I'm convinced the pilot saw the other plane and not the one directly in it's path. There are entirely too many planes and choppers allowed in that airspace!!!
@@robertv6628 yes I understand. And that may exactly have been what happened. In the video footage I saw when this story first happened you can see the flight coming in to land on the left, the chopper in the middle and another plane flying in on the right side of the chopper. When you combine it with the audio, the pilot might very well have been looking over to the right and having that plane clearly in sight just did not see the other one until the last second and it was too late. Of course, this is just my belief from what I saw and heard.

How doesn’t a news channel show the helicopter going the wrong direction? The Blackhawk helicopter was coming from the north not the south. If this was just to show the corridor that the military uses both ways then it should’ve been explained that way. But they were talking about that specific Blackhawk when showing the helicopter coming from the south.
What are you people smoking? I’m so confused in what American news station should take note about this. Everything this news station said the American news station have said. What are you people watching!? I’m so confused.

Tragically heartbreaking air disaster, just one after another. My heartfelt condolences & prayers to all the family & friends. However the black Hawk crashing straight onto passenger is mysterious, it’s kind of suicidal attack as helicopters can change the direction with ease? Was the pilot got blind? Unbelievable.
Aviation accidents have occurred since the dawn of manned flight - and in far greater numbers than in recent years. But suddenly, something is happening to America?
To the average observer, it appears that the airports are too small and very congested for the amount of aircraft they're handling. Also, the airports are too close to residential areas.
I believe it is very possible the pilot of the Blackhawk Helicopter, when asked from the tower if he could see the plane and answered ‘yes’, he perhaps could see the other plane , the one he saw perhaps was not or may not have been the one the tower referred to. There were clearly 2 planes and the helicopter in the original video shown almost at the time of the accident. That was not an accident at all. The chopper couldve maneuvered anyway at any time. The fact that they lifted shows that was targeted. This seems like a coordinated attack
Are you an experienced pilot? Lol seems you talking out your ass
What new information? Millions saw the video of the crash shortly after the tragic event. The helicopter was 100 feet to high.
I live 5 blocks from where this happened. This is northeast Philly. Not suburban Philadelphia.
@stuckinthe90sThegoldenera are there any casualties on the ground?
@@annawhyte5890 My friend was there at the time and she sent a video showing body parts all over the street.. Really sad.
@@diaslamure6048 oh my😥 although the last crash was terrible i told myself it would have been worse if the plane crashed over land vs water. That's the only good thing i thought about it and now this happened😪
In Australia the word "suburb" can often be used differently than in the US.
In Australia if it's a residential neighbourhood, it's a suburb.
Did you hear that guy said “ALLA AKBR” in Arabic?! That’s scary, I’d investigate him!
Both accidents lost communication with the atc tower!!!
Not an accident!!!
Heartbroken for those that died. Very sad. 😢😢😢
Surely these things happening in America is not a surprise to all, the big one is yet to happen still!
How and Why shouldn't the main question but who is accountable for this
Egypt gets over a billion a year from the US
@@478AB92what's Egypt have to do with this?
BS!! With the elevation number!!!!!😮No helicopter should be at a lower altitude underneath a landing plane!Especially crossing the planes ROW!!! If anything in that situation ,If it HAD to BE in that particular airspace? It could have hovered in place.Or quickly turned around to AVOID the collision!
America in chaos.
In 2020, 344 people died in aviation accidents in the USA. In 2021, that number jumped to 370. In 2022, 355 perished. In 2023, 324 deaths occurred. Was America in chaos then?
Some fatalities on the ground also. There were cars got burned down.
Barely out of jan and it’s been complete chaos, wtf is going on in America
You got trump as president that's whats happened to your country only gunna get worse aswell
@@khalinras6786What's Trump have to do with it?
Could have something to do with the very change in their leadership...
News reports this morning are saying, they are not sure if anybody lived through it. So sorry for those lost souls, but nobody is living through that.
That looked like .. Free-Falling straight down. My ❤Goes To All Affected ... & as for the black hawk /plane crash it clearly looks like the black hawk was Not looking where it was going for what ever reason.! ( Helicopters can move on a dime ,Planes Can Not. )
0:37 behind the female voiceover the background voice is saying "Allahu Akbar."
Spatial disorientation, bad weather, pilot loss orientation in flight
no...explosion
It's also possible there's a mechanical failure.
@@GeekGamer666but no its easier to speculate and create conspiracy theories, make it political say it's the gays and veterans .... some people online are stu- wait .... I'm sorry it was the president who said that!?
