I had to remove the texts due to privacy and re-upload it. I also want to say for the record, yes its his setup and he can do what he wants, but the entire purpose of the show is to give back to the community. People that are in need, so to have him sell something I worked so hard on is messed up. I just wanted to express what I was feeling and let everyone know what happened. Thats the point of this video. Please dont leave any negative feedback about Filip in the comments section, lets try and be civil about it. Refrain from using bad words.

I'm stating a fact that he is being selfish, which he is; He doesn't care that Ed and the CoolerMaster team spent months planning this for him, he doesn't care that he ruined the chances of someone more deserving to win the setup, he lied, and took the setup for granted, and got 'sympathy points' through the submission process just for his own personal gain, and for that reason, i think he is a prick.
How could he do this. If this was me I would’ve kept it for at least 4 years then upgraded it. I couldn’t sell a pc made by my fav youtuber.

As a paralyzed, self taught graphic designer and single father that set up would have put me in a situation to actually better not only my life but my son’s as well. Siemen Lens, I 100% agree, I just rewatched this vid during quarantine, I also have a setup that was featured here in 2019, and I can say that I’m lucky to have a setup that I am comfortable with and that I use to keep my mindset at a good state while going through college. For TechSource to spend all this time, and money to really help this guy out with maybe a hobby that could keep him in a good state and for him to basically take advantage of that and sell it is quite frankly disgusting.

Don't quote me on this but i don't think that Filip entered to sell the setup, the whole reason why ed started setup makeover to was to give back to the less fortunate people and filip was one of them (cuz his parents dont care about him in being in debt), but i dont think that he entered to sell the setup or i don't think that when filip got the new setup i dont think his original plan was to sell it, but it probs got to the point of where he went to the last resource and he had to sell it, otherwise he could be in a lot more trouble financially. So in conclusion i dont think that filip wanted to hurt ed at all, i just think that he was really struggling financially and he went to the last resource he had, but i could be wrong on all of this, just giving my opinion. Still feel pissed off and still sorry for you ed. much love

He's a great guy and I'm positive that we all respect him for what he does for others and how considerate he is. If that was me, I would've thanked him a thousand times over and want to return the favour some day. I'm really grateful to him for being able to create a TH-cam channel, make videos for his fans and help them out with tutorials and he does what he loves and shows it. 6:50 - My dad was a landscaper & when I was a kid I would go help him. You could really tell who was a good person & who wasn't by this exact point. It's just common courtesy to offer someone working in your house a glass of water, a snack or even some food if dinner is made. It's been almost 5 years since this video & it's still upsetting to think that Filip lied & was so ungrateful for such an awesome set up
It's just crazy how some people don't understand the effort ed puts in and they don't even offer something to drink which is the most basic thing to do when there are guests, I just don't understand it but luckily since then every contestant who won has been actually grateful
Well it's not really the same thing because ed literally does it for free. He spends thousands of dollars and also the time to do it. I don't understand how they would not be grateful and not offer anything. I work landscaping with my dad and most ppl don't hand out water unless it's In the summer and it's 95+ degrees Fahrenheit. If they do give water, they're a really good person.
It's straight up crazy to not offer someone inside your house a bottle of water or something. Like if someone else is at my house (even if they're doing something outside) if I'm eating, I'm offering food to them too. My ancestors would rise from the dead and smite me where I stand if I didn't offer the most basic hospitality.

Here's a thought,you probably have a children's home somewhere near where where you live. These are kids that are abandoned,druggie parents etc. They can be all ages,not just small kids. Ask the management if they need some new computers--doubt they would even care or want expensive gaming rigs,but just run of the mill computers that lets them do basic computing, research,learning programs,print out some things. I'll guarantee they would appreciate what you've given them,and HELL NO they wouldn't have them for sale a week later and you could take a tax write off for the cost.
