How to prepare Botox for injection

- If you're a new injector, then preparing Botox for the first time can feel daunting. In fact, when I received my first ever Botox vial I phoned the distributer because I thought they'd sent me an empty bottle. Turns out that wasn't the first time they'd heard that!
In this video I share how I prepare my Botox for injecting, the reconstitution used, how I draw Botox, and my top tips for ensuring your needle stays primed and sharp ready for injection.

In this video I'm using 2.5mls of Bacteriostatic Saline mixed with the botulinum toxin & a BD syringe.

Why do you use Bacteriostatic Saline and not steril water?

This was a great demonstration. Just wondering if you hVe heard that flicking the BD syringe was bad bc it releases chemicals from the plastic. Would love to know your thoughts on this.

If you are planning to take the rubber stopper out then why not take it out first and just add the saline without worrying about the vacuum and therefore bubbles? Is it so that you can mix it with the vial stopper in place?
So I don’t have to let it chill I can just inject after getting it ready?
Since the toxin is in pressurized vapor form, wouldn't you lose some of the product by letting the air pressure release with a needle?

How do you get the metal ring off so you can pull the rubber stopper out?
There’s a round pliers type device sold to remove the metal rings.
As you've diluted 100UI with 2.5 ml of saline, it wouldn't be 1:1 ratio. Do you keep that in mind? Or you just consider that dilution as 1:1 anyways

Do you always use 2.5ml? We mix with 1ml. Just wondering if should be diluting more?
Yes its 2.5,urs will be very strong and ur also loosing out in alot of money
Just curious if you don't neutralize the toxin vial what would happen？
If the vacuum is not removed it becomes difficult and slow to aspirate using the insulin syringes because the aspiration pressure will be lower than the vacuum pressure. Also the vacuum negative pressure will pull air bubbles into the aspirate in the syringe from around the plunger from the empty part of the syringe behind the plunger.

What happens if you inject with a little bubble by accident?
Nothing, as long as the bubbles are tiny.

Those 0.5/1ml seringe are bad quality! Try use the ones with a detachable needle and use 30/32G messo needles to inject.

Your technique is wrong .
You must not shake the mixture in hard way...but..in very gentel way.
You must not pull the rubber cover ..this lead to lose of product sterlity..
You must not full all the 1 ml syring with product because you will not control the injection process. easily ...
