Listen to growers who've converted from center pivot and furrow irrigation systems to a Netafim SDI system, discuss the benefits they're now experiencing, including increased yields, improved crop, reduced costs for labor and energy, and many more.
Nobody has this around here. If I do this I want it to be professionally installed by a company that has experience installing these. How do I find a professional installer of this? Netafim's corporate office in CA offered me zero help on this question.
Do you need to pull up the irrigation system during plowing season?
No it's below the plow zone.
@@deannelson9565 hi sir. Just to confirm. What is the depth of this tape. And what is recommended plough deepness during land preparation after applied this kind of irrigation system
@@ramananaidu1219 Typical install depth is 12-16". Recommend 6" of separation from tillage depth to drip depth
Cool
You didn't tell how deep under the surface the system is placed. As I see it, 30cm, maybe more, would be a minimum to ensure against wild hog rooting. And feral pigs are either everywhere or soon will be.

How
What does it cost to install a system like this on a 150 acre field?
About 200,000
@@deannelson9565 What is a ballpark figure on what increase in yield I could expect on a 150 acre field after spending $200,000 for it? At present, with no irrigation, I get 165 bushel corn....on a year with decent July and August rainfall.
