Wow, it’s so neat to see another mom who does what I do! (I’m 29.) Intermittent fasting has totally changed my health as a mother, and I finally have energy. I’m constantly studying the research on it and how we can use it to help our hormones, what to eat at what time of the month, etc. It’s so neat! We also generally stay away from sugar, but don’t hold rigidly to any one diet, and we DO have a sugar dessert every now and then, but it’s not something we crave and have to have. I find it just makes such a difference with all of our moods and ability to handle life, especially with the littler ones😅 I had thought about starting a channel, but you’re including everything I would do if I had one, haha, and much more beautifully😊 May God bless you in your journey!
Yogurt is a great tenderiser for Chicken. And only takes around an hour..For one large whole chicken which I have used as is or divided up into pieces.I use approx 3 cups pain full fat yogurt smothering all the chicken in it .Then place in a bowl cover with cling film and put in refrigerator for an hour.After the hour and your ready to cook.I just remove excess yogurt off chicken and it is ready to grill as usual.Its lovely with jacket potatoes and a big salad....Just a thought ....
I skip breakfast too. It allows my body to process everything I've eaten the day before and I actually feel hungry when I start eating the next day. Usually I feel like I'm overloading my body if I have breakfast and making it work to hard and not giving it a chance to empty and start again. Just found your channel and I love your originality and your honest personality compared to alot of other channels/ vloggers. Keep being authentically you :)

To make chicken more tender marinate it in the leftover whey from homemade yogurt or in some yogurt. You only need min 30 to 1 hr and it works like a charm! I always do this when I want a tender chicken but I forget to marinate it early on in the day 😉 hope this helps!

Marinades don’t really take that long. For grilled chicken if I’m in a hurry sometimes I literally just put oil, vinegar, and spices on it just before throwing it on the grill and it turns out delicious!
You should research into intermittent fasting in women, ita a fairly new science. ALL previous studies have been done on men and as you know we arent just little men! Skipping breakfast is terrible for our hormones, it is better to skip lunch or dinner. Men have a 24 hour hormone cycle, whereas women have a 28 day hormone cycle (on average). We need breakfast because of how hormones work with cortisol and melatonin etc. If you are constantly skipping breakfast, you will end up with a pretty messed up hormonal cycle over time. Anyway, it's worth reading the female studies, they don't support IF during breakfast at all (unless you are post menopausal).
Just curious, in your healing journey did you cut out dairy or did you continue to consume raw dairy including milk? Also did you do a video on your journey?

When I was young I had a glass of milk with each meal but I wasn’t allowed to drink it until I finished eating my food. My mother didn’t want us to fill up on milk. To this day, 75 years later, I eat my meal before drinking anything. Always a glass of water before coffee or tea. Old habits live on and on. 😊. My favorite thing to eat not matter the season is eggs with pepper, onions, and cheese. If I am feeling fancy I'll add mushrooms! Top that with some tobasco and sour cream and I am a happy camper! I would love to have chickens. I live in subsidized housing so there isn't any space for them. I did get approval for a couple raised beds so I am now growing 50% of our food and that is good enough for me until the Lord blesses us with mor
I talked to a maple farmer in Vermont, and he said the sugar content is so high in syrup, you don't need to freeze it. Just keep it cold in the fridge to keep it from going bad.

Sourdough contains higher levels of vitamins and nutrients. Also has lower levels of phytates which allow your body to absorb those nutrients more equally than regular white breads. Also has a lower glycemic index so doesn’t spike blood sugar like regular white bread and is easier to digest. Einkorn wheat is similar. Hope this helps :)
Do you use white flour or whole grain flour for your sour dough? I've always seen white used but if whole wheat works, nutritionally, would be so much better.
It actually turned out super tasty! Some of the maple syrup just stayed in the bowl so it wasn’t very sweet, but perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream 😉
No, we haven’t had one in about 10 years 😊 after learning they’re not good for you, we just decided never to get used to one. I hardly ever think of it now, except when I run into a crunch with dinner like this! 😅

I'm not sure if this is practical for you or not, but I usually bring the compost bin near where I'm cooking or prepping. That way I can just toss the egg shells or veggie scraps right in the bin and not have to wipe up anything off the stove or counter. 😊

We love having chicken with a little sesame oil and a lot of cocoaminos. I bake in the oven or grill it. It tastes so good! Comes out very moist.

There are no essential carbs
No one needs them
We do have essential fatty acids & essential amino acids tho.
Next time use Italian dressing and your seasonings on your chicken and grill it.
